  1. Yes that's why I dropped the price. I didn't realise it had gone down in the sales but I checked and realised it has dropped to £350 and this is the only reason for me dropping the price, I don't want to rip anyone off. The unit is only 6months old though and does come with loom adaptor. Sounds like your trying to chat me up Dave ;-)
  2. Sorry but I wont have the photos until tomorrow now as I wont be going home where the stereo is sat in my dinning room. Hope thats ok. Will DEFIANTLY have the picture up tomorrow. Regards, Chris
  3. Thanks Beavis. I will be home this evening so will get some pictures up. Fully boxed, Its like a brand new unit and I only ever used Iphone connectivity so C.D, memory card readers have never been used :-)
  4. FOR SALE. My Pioneer AVH-8400BT Stereo from the Zed now that it has sold. I have the wiring loom to connect to the Zed and also the Pioneer steering control loom (I never had this in with this unit but did with my last Pioneer unit so not 100% sure it works with this unit). Its a brilliant unit, and only selling due to the sale of my Nissan and the possible purchase of a car with a single din space. I paid £450 (brand new) six months ago so should still have manufactures warranty. Looking for £350 ONO + Delivery which I should imagine will be around £10. for more details please visit; http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/25/109/281/AVH-8400BT/page.html Quick overview: Parrot Bluetooth module for hands-free calls: it saves up to 1000 contacts (microphone included). 5. Well the car has just been sold today to HummBen. Seems like a good home to go to with his knowledge of working with skylines. Still very sad to see her go, I will miss the car but time for a new 'smaller' project car :-) Thanks for all the comments. (Mod's this thread can now be lock. Thanks)
  6. Hi Ben, I have just sent you a PM with my contact details. Thanks again Mitz for making me aware of the messages, I have been a bit busy and havent had time to think (or pay you a visit) I will pop in one day in the new year to say hello
  7. Thanks for the kind words and interest. Sorry I haven't been in contact as I have just moved house and been a bit pre-occupied. As for offers of PX I am looking to sell the car and get a mini so I just want a cash sale. I will PM anyone interested with a cash sale with no PX. Regards, Chris
  8. Price drop to £5500, Both front and rear bumpers have been resprayed and heres the Ebay link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121028584264?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  9. The prices has now been dropped to £5500, someone must want it for that!
  10. Do you think it would be better to sell the wings, boot and bumper, springs and replace them with standard parts and then drop the price as how it is right now I would want £6000 but if I restored the car back to standard I would be happy to let it go for less.
  11. Do you guys think thats a reasonable price? I haven't advertised it anywhere other than here yet but is my best bet piston heads? Cheers, Chris
  12. Well with the purchase of a new house and thinking its time for a more practical car I think its time to sell my beloved Zed. NISSAN 350 z V6 2003 (£5,500 ONO) Much loved Nissan 350z GT seeks new home: (UK Gunmetal manual with Bose) I am regretfully selling my beloved 350z. I have had the car for almost a year and a half now and has put a smile on my face from ear to ear every time I've driven it. It’s easy to understand why these 'Z' cars have such strong customer loyalty. The car turns heads wherever it goes, and commands respect from anyone who knows what they're talking about. The car has covered 110,000 and feels as tight and responsive as ever. MOT remains’ until February 2013, Taxed till the end of the month. Worthy of note is the reduced road tax (as a '53 plate 12 months tax costs £260 not the £460 of newer models). Last service: Carried out by myself as I work at a major car retailer (summer 2012- major service) New belts, drilled disks and yellow stuff pads, and full service carried out by myself (work for a major car retailer). No Expense Spared with this car. The car has also had some subtle modifications, which are listed below; Custom fully smoothed Nismo front bumper Custom front arches with 370z side repeater/badges Rear Ariel removed and smoothed out Rear wiper removed and smoothed out along with rear spoiler and badges. Black roof Eibich 30mm lowering springs Drilled disks with yellow stuff pads Black interior roof lining and plastics to match. Black wing mirrors. Black Ray alloy wheels. The car is of genuine UK production, not an import. As a GT model, it has full leather interior, 18'' Rays forged steel alloys, upgraded all round Brembo disc brakes, xenon headlights, electric heated seats and Bose stereo system. I have had the original stereo unit replaced for a top of the range double din touch screen unit (which can be included if the price is right, otherwise it will come with the standard Bose unit). The car is in great condition for a 53'. It has some very minor stone chips that due to the shape of the z seem impossible to avoid. She is very much an enthusiast's car, but will deliver unbridled levels of fun and enjoyment, with all the perks of having Japanese reliability. Bad Points. A couple of points just to mention The roof has a couple of small dents in from a hail storm. These would easily come out if given to a dent removal professional without the need to re-paint the roof. The front bumper has a small scratch on the bottom lip on the passenger side which if I have time I will paint. The rear bumper would do with being painted as it has been scuffed and flexed the paint which is very minor but I fussy and just wanted to give you all the points. Key points: Nissan 35oz GT Black Manual 6 speed Equipment: Satellite navigation Leather interior Heated seats with electric adjustment Xeonon Head lamps Cruise control 18" forged steel alloys Brembo brakes ABS Air conditioning Power Steering Central Locking Power folding mirrors 350 z floor mats Electric alarm 110,000 miles 4 months MOT remaining Last service : 108,000 (major service) Performance: 3500cc V6 0-62mph: 5.9 sec Top speed: limited at 155mph 6 Speed manual
  13. I have the 370z side repeaters on my zed. Its a big job and involved a bit of welding and cutting then filler work to smooth things over. I love them! one of the best mods I have done :-)
  14. Thanks for the comments, It's a big decision for me and not one that I'm going to rush into. I am weighing up how much it would save me if anything at all. I'm only 25 and wouldn't be able to drive a standard car (I know compromises have to be made but my car is my hobby) Its not like I cant afford my car and the mortgage its just with the running costs getting ever higher I wonder if it would be better to change the car now or try and stick it out. I will PM Sarnie now to see if he can work his magic :-)
