what do you expect to need to accelerate out of at 30mph in traffic? your more likely to need to brake than you are to accelerate.

why labour the engine if you can;t go anywhere? 30 mph in traffic in a 30 zone with cars infront the car will happily pootle in 6th. if you look at auto boxes and alot of the new eco cars that tell you the most economical gear to be in when driving always move you to the highest possible gear when its most suitable. of course in spirited driving or needing quick engine responce then yes you want to be near the 3k mark.

there is another new vinyl that i've seen that feels soft like velvet, but is hard as nails, you can drag a key across it and it won't scratch. you can also paint ontop of it. so technically you could wrap the car in it, then paint it, and then change the colour at a later date by peeling off. maybe not for whole cars, but the posibilities for wheels is what i'm looking at.

with regards to the pedal staying depressed; sounds like clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder to me.

can't say i've seen holes ripped in to wraps by stones, not saying it won't but the vinyl is pretty resiliant. but a clear wrap on top is definetly an option. no different to whats on offer to put on painted cars, things like armourfend etc are just thick vinyls.

i got the feeling that win mob 8 is one to look at in the future but not until its been out for a while.

not all vinyl are wither solid colour or matte, there are vinyls out there with a flip paint effect and others that are metallic with flecks in them. what is more interesting is that there are new films being produced that can now be painted, buffed and polished so you can even remove scratches from them. I'm hoping to get some soon to see what the matches is like for my XKR. so technically you could buy a new bumper, order the vinyl in your paint code and have it wrapped instead of sprayed. they also reckon this new vinyl has the same longevity as paint.

A vodafone rep actually told me there was a problem with the Desire getting a decent 3G signal! Dont know how true that is though Either way its going next month so i have a decision to make, i actually dont like vodafone either......terrible customer service i'm with O2 have been for years customer services is really good and all call centers are UK based. they have a new tarriff of £37 a month for unlimited calles and text and 1 gb data allowance. for abit more there is a 2gb data allowance. on that tarriff for 24 months the one X is free or the S3 is £90 i think. used to love orange, but they went down the pan when they shifted everything abroad. without being rude i tend to end contracts or avoid businesses who move their call centers abroad.
