i think the building would look quiet smart with a glass front. looks like the X5 saved them the building costs -
just need to pimp it out with some dark tints and 3 big blokes in the back with guns

i only own 1 suit and its for weddings funerals interviews etc. its my favourite so far that i've ever owned. its a charcoal grey ted baker suit with an awesome purple lining. and the cut on it; is as if it was tailor made for me. my last suit my wife picked for me and it was a blacky brown colour, she said and many others did that it suited me, but i hated it. never felt comfortable in it. if i was to have another suit i would have a black suit just for funerals as i do wish when i was at them that i had something more somber for the occasion. as for me in a suit i'm feeling brave some are my own others are morning wear for weddings. My new favourite suit brothers wedding, morning dress horrible brown suit My wedding morning dress so i've been brave who else is feeling daring

then the torque converter wouldn't be worrying me at the moment, i'd be looking at fuelling and injectors first. might even be something like an idler pully needs adjusting (if it has one; don;t know the mercs V8's that well). possibly first thing would be to plug OBDII into it and see if there are any stored codes on there. not all faults kick up the engine warning light, so it might give you an idea if it has the odd missfire etc.

it may not be as bad as you think, until its been inspected you won't know. if you go straight to insurer, they'll start charging the moment it goes in for diagnosis. which will reduce the amount they'll offer for fixing. it might be worth having it checked first then telling insurance whats wrong, with a quote for repair. and if its not so bad get the garage to add the inspection to the bill as well. remember you can specify where you get it repaired so don;t let them fob you off with their own choice. as they always bill for parts straight form nissan regardless. if you get it to someone like Horsham developments, Abbey motorsports or Advanced motrosports Engineering. they would be sensible and facotr in things like using a 2nd hand top end etc. or using after market parts which are often cheaper than direct OEM parts.

in sport mode or any mode to be honest if you plant it are there any issues with kick down? does it kick down every time? that would be the first signs

but then your car will be a CAT D, or even possibly CAT C if they class it as flood damage. so your car is worth even less come resale. and possibly harder to sell.

have you run a can of BG44k through it yet, give the injectors a good clean out or take it to a terra clean outlet and have them run a some special fluid through it. or do both. i'm enjoying slight hesitation before kick down. new problem to fix

so so true, the zed is a great all round car, anyone can drive it and get alot out of it with minimal skill, the S2K when you get it right is so rewarding. you have to use the gears more, you really need to move up and down the range alot to keep it in the sweet spot, and with some good heel and toe, the high revs all the changes and the engine singing with the roof down it all just pulls together as a superb experience man and machine in harmony. i still miss my Stook if i had the cash i'd buy another as a track toy or something similiar

what filter do you run? is it a standard filter or something else? if it was the standard filter i struggle to see how water would have got that high up the bonnet unless the puddle was 3 feet deep?
-
its the same plastic, but the buttons are finished better, + the newer ones are about the same round the track but drive better, are smoother, but weigh more and have less torque.

i'm intrigued now, what zed parts fit a volvo?

pro's and con's with all cars, and to be honest others opinions aren't the best basis, you need to make your own mind up. many on here love the zed it is a great car. but for the likes of me it didn;t meet my requirements. the one thing the car did give me was acess to a forum where i made a great bunch of friends, so much so that i have now moved on 2 cars since the zed and i'm still here.

it might help to say where in the world you actually are? I know of lots of good places around the UK for different things. as said above only 3 places in the UK that know how to remap the stock ECU: Horsham Development, Abbey Motorsport and RS Tuning. but if your looking at using an after market ECU then there is a lot more choice possibly one of my first choices would be AEM at silverstone, if you wanted bodywork or engine add ons done people like japex are very good, i have a motor sport specialist near me who work on all my cars an di know of a few others who can work magic with any cars. like Falcon performance in middlesbourgh. or Team AFM near me. so stqart with your address and we can work from there.

I have had a CTR, 350Z and an S2000 all great cars have to say the best out of all of them was the S2000, i know i'm in the minority here and it wasn't that the zed is a bad car, but the 2 of us just didn't gel. after 12 months i found the car a bit of a disappointment. by 18 months i'd sold it and swapped to the S2K. best move i ever made. i found the zeds engine note a let down, it looked faster than it actually was, had a plasticy interior. its the one car i don't miss after selling. but if this is your first time in RWD cars then the 350Z is a great car to move to. although its RWD its a very predicatable drive, and when it does break away its fairly progessive (tyre dependent) and if you leave the TCS etc all switched on its very nannying and doesn't really let you get out of shape. externally the zed is a great looking car and although i moaned about the plastic inside its far better than a lot of cars, and the kit levels not bad. its a comfy drive for most especially long distance i again am on my own on this but my hip could never find a comfy driving position for anything over a 3 hour drive. its a great GT car, has the low down grunt for overtaking on motorways. 270 bhp may seem alot but its well packaged in the zed and its not an out of control car. but treat it like a numpty with the toys turned off and you'll end up in a hedge. as for the S2K yes i found it a much better drive, but it could be a little more tail happy than the zed, and it has a reputation as a widow maker, not sure why as i found it a very communicativ e and progressive drive. the S2k has a lot smaller cabin space, but it does make you feel like your squeezed into an F1 car. i prefer the leather and the dash in the S2K but its very minimal inside. although everything is right at your fingertips from 10 to 2 driving position. yes it lacks the torque that the zed has but for B road bombing and track work the stook is a dream to drive, the gear change is magic and its made for heel and toe work. (couldn't do it in the zed pedal setup was not right for my dodgy ankle) yes its more tiring on a long drive especially with a loud exhaust on. i don't hate the zed but i always feel it should have been so much more, its a great car for modding, its a good safe start for learning RWD she's big she's planted, she's safe and you get a lot for your money. as a driving car the S2K is the daddy i loved mine, has been one of my all time favourites to drive, very rewarding an di think more enjoyable if you have some RWD experience already. the best advice is go try some cars out, see what you like. one mans whiskey is another mans dishwater.
