Silver nismo V2 / V3 / unknown kitted Z33 Import
Olly350z replied to -G-'s topic in Spotted on Ebay or Other
This has been for sale alot recently, and was posted on one of the facebook pages. Its nice and alot of kit for the money, but something about it makes me feel uneasy! -
Id edit this while you can, its really not wise to admit plan B on an open forum. Its well known that insurance companies check such sites. Especially when both insurers youve mebtioned are on here

Olly's facelifted GT. Sun burn, shows and new exhaust!
Olly350z replied to Olly350z's topic in Member Build Projects
Well crunch time finally happened! It went down to the bodyshop on Tuesday, and after a lengthy chat with the sprayer I've ended up having even more work done Always amazes me how quickly I can spend what I earn! So as far as a run down goes, this is the list of work its having done hopefully ready for incarnation on the 22nd of April, It goes something like this N1 front bumper Chargespeed rear bumper 380rs spoiler Debadged boot Wings with 370 indicators Full front end respray blended into the doors backend respray Wheels refurbished Door handles to match the wheels So this was it being picked up By Rob at RBE LTD motoring and recovery assistance, know Rob personally and his work is spot on and down at the bodyshop The yesterday I popped down to drop a few more bits off and was greeted with this... Then today my phone goes off, and its the sprayer. They've gotten stuck right in... Happy doesn't quite cover it. There we have a chargespeed and 380rs spoiler! The bodyshop have had nothing but praise for these products and how well they've fitted, requiring minimal work to get them on. I should also note that I have USDM crystal clear rear lights to go into the bumper to make it really look fresh. I can't wait for more updates! -
Bullshit, no car goes through 4 and potentially its 5th owner that quickly unless its got something seriously wrong. The only possible thing is that they're all paying well over the odds and then realising they've been stung, because they dont realise the example they've got...
-
So how many new owners has it run up in the last 3-4 months? 3-4? Somethings got to be wrong with it Remember seeing it at incarnation and thinking "Holy batman". Was such a clean well presented Z

Where exactly did I "attack" you specifically in my original post? Where? Did it not perhaps cross your mind before you replied with a smartarse comment that I was referring to the outlandish comment on the listing? A comment that has arisen because what once was a lovely car is doing the rounds for certain dodgy reasons? Or is it somewhat more accurate to say that you've been called out on so many things lately, the blowing exhuast, the plastidip, something about a moderator that you're instantly hostile to anyone who says different? As ive said to you before, if you just stop arguing for 5 minutes then maybe common sense would prevail.
-
Well done, youve posted links to engine builds that have everything from cams, valve train, porting and polishing in between to being over bored. Everything that this is not. Jesus wept.
-
You're whole argument, which you started in the first place I may add, about whether an uprev can achieve 350 BHP is mute, from the simple understanding that this particular car, does not even have close to those modifications required, hence a multiple of members messaging the seller to inform him of this. It is simple common sense. Thus yet again strudel strikes again grasping at straws and splitting hairs to bump his postcount up a tad more, all in the persuit of "knowledge". What I am also saying is that until you undertake such feats and learn things for yourself, first hand, what you read on the internet is to be taken with an extremely large pinch of salt and is far from gospel. When you could perhaps go down to a reputable machine shop, I dont know talk to someone with YEARS worth of experience. But why dont you come help us with our high comp B20 we're building, I can show you if you want? Currently finishing porting and polishing the head, I'd love to hear your input especially on whether the exhaust is blowing or not

Its really frustrating when you chat @*!# about topics you dont have a clue about because you've sat on the internet reading and suddenly you're Dominic toretto. When people like me and others commenting here have actually built there engines for themselves... You remind me of a chap on the civic forum who made engine mounts from wood then wondered why his engine fell out. You're still not learning from the whole "If people are disagreeing with me then maybe I might be wrong" thing huh. Speaking of relevance, you joined not long before or after me, i cant remember which and yet have an obscene amount of posts. Wonder how many of those are "related". Shall we continue via PM?

Theres no way from what ive read on VQ35s for them to make 350BHP from stock with just the usual supporting mods. Big loud cams, fueling, injection, porting, polishing, skimming, timing and a whole shop of other parts then maybe, just maybe. But you're talking about upping compression, a serious N/A build. And absolutely thousands of pounds for when as coldel says, put on either a turbo or supercharger and youll make more for less. The uprev isnt just about unlocking modifications, its about improving the entire feel of the engine and how it drives. This really frustrates when people make outlandish claims and people believe them!

INCARNATION - PLEASE READ IF ATTENDING
Olly350z replied to Payco's topic in Local Meets Across The UK
Well the cars in, the painter is optimistic but who knows! Lets cross everything! -
You'll need to get the bumper repsrayed and filled of you move the plate, youll have two 50p size holes behind the plate holder
-
Try unplugging the battery and leaving it at least 20 minutes to completely dissipate the charge. Hopefully upon reconnecting and starting the ECU will relearn throttle position

Evening Payco, My car is going into the bodyshop this week for a fair amount of work. Im crossing everything that itll be ready in time but just in case and ill put this out for everyone, maybe pre allocate my pass. Im aimming to be there but its going to be tight Thought id let you all know -
Im half sceptical about my gallery gaskets as we spoke about a fair while ago Mark. Can anyone tell me what oil pressures should be for an 04 DE?
-
450BHP and stretched tyres. ALRIGHTY THEN
-
Payco did you tell him you used to own it? Its pretty laughable really. And a full chargespeed bodykit? LOL. Whats the betting this owner has purchased it and not realised how badly hes been stung? Id bet anything hes paid well over the odds...
-
Are you still banging that same drum hahah. Probably because on unmodified cars they've all gone through strict testing to see where potential leaks or bottle necks could occur
-
I agree with Paddy, I too was surprised at the lack of a thread but also relieved by it too. Thats what i meant Its awful whats happened but maybe im desensitised to it, but oh well? All its doing is yet another smokescreen while the real issue is unresolved. The only bit I agree with is not hating your fellow man, because the actions of the minority do not represent the majority
-
Erm... Yeah I dont really get this?
-
If im correct, doesnt it replace the oxygen in your blood cells, effectively starving the brain? So all forms of coordination go completely out the window... That was rather harrowing to watch as the chap was effectively dying there, and the track marshals seemed to have very little idea.

I hope fitting goes well haha! Well as of today thats the complete kit here, Nismo N1 bumper 380RS spoiler Chargespeed rear bumper. Im a little nervous about it all going down the bodyshop! -
As said, its not my opinion because honestly I dont know enough about it all to cast one, I just found it quite interesting to read, as morbid as that sounds...
