  1. They don't fit MK2 Nismos sadly without minor modification, due to the different diff. Not impossible but it hurts the wallet having to modify an already expensive exhaust I had the Injen SeS on my 350z, can recommend it was a great sounding exhaust. Nice and deep, with a distinctive noise to it. Shame it fitted like garbage though and was left high and dry by injen / torqen so would advise caution
  2. Injen SES Invidia Gemini Motordyne Shockwave Ark grip V2 Those are my 4 choices, with ideally the ark grip wanted the most, however if you have a 370z nismo it won't fit without modification as the diff is different
  3. Mine does this, will be silky smooth then out of nowhere the valve starts operating and it so noticeable. You can actually feel it through the valve opening and closing. Daft question, but what does the valve actually do?
  4. I wouldn't worry too much, I also suffer this. Engine will sound silky smooth but when the valve starts working it sounds awful. You can actually feel the valve opening / closing in rhythm with the noise
  5. 4 days off meant another cleaning session before being left to break numerous necks as people walked by
  6. Surprised no-one has managed the BMW M4 wheels. Probably my favorite wheel, and it's OEM!
  7. I've used millers for years and never had any issues, on the previous 350z and now the nismo hence my recommendation. I think you'll be just fine personally These engines aren't over delicate, just good fuel and regular oil changes and they're practically bomb proof.
  8. Do we have any idea of cost? This is something I want to do on my Nismo for the simple reassurance of keeping an eye on it Perhaps the possibility of a group buy?
  9. Not quite for the MOT as an advisory, but any garage worth half their salts will ask this, its not uncommon for most people to combine service and mot so it only means one visit a year. Obviously it means a higher turnover that day for the garage and one visit for the customer I've seen it alot of the last year people moving out of line and choosing not to service due to low miles
  10. If you're going to go to those lengths you might as well get a plate flipper and the bumper holes filled. Nothing worse then seeing a relocated plate and two great holes in the bumper
  11. That mot station / tester is about to have a very rough couple of days haha. As I said the ministry take this very seriously so they're going to get a random spot check and every bit of paperwork gone through. I wouldnt worry about the squeaks and groans so much, 350s and 370s are probably one of the least refined "sports cars" on the market. So feedback all adds to the experience
  12. You've never seen an MOT tester or garage be threatened by the ministry then. I can guarantee one anonymous phone call is all it would take and they would @*!# their pearly panties. The ministry take this kind of thing very, very seriously. Its not the one that's the issue, it's the many. And they would do an immediate on the spot site check
  13. Worthing mate, couple of us down here if you want to come down, Covid allowing we used to have regular meet ups in the Hassocks area
  14. I'm down in West Sussex if you fancy a meander down to the Coast. Not after any form of payment, would be just nice to talk to someone who isn't a work colleague
  15. We've covered that under our Honda warranties, Nissan do have a reputation for being bellends with there warranties
  16. I used some silicone spray on mine, lubed the struts then opened / closed a couple times which worked a charm. Nearly takes my head off now if I'm not careful
  17. If you're really going to go after a 370z then I would suggest saving as much and for as long as you can, as they only really got better with time. As example I'm reasonably confident in saying most 2015 cars had all issues ironed out. As for dealers, the one notorious one to avoid that I know of is Junction 17 cars. Avoid them like covid 19. Depending on where abouts in the south east you are, I'm worthing so you are welcome to have a nose around my Nismo if you want to get an idea before you visit a dealer
  18. That is a very good point, and normally I might have said yes. My only thought would be if its been extremely cold in your area, the fuel would've been denser and maybe unable to evaporate. Perhaps a rise in temperature has then allowed it to clear? Hypothetically speaking of course, I've never known electrical gremlins like that to just disappear. There is always a root cause
  19. That sounds like it was flooded, which would happen with repeated starting attempts
  20. One big consideration for you to take into account is preventative maintenance. The reason I mention this is later models of the 350z, the HR, are prone to several faults which will munch that budget. Slave cylinder failure and gallery gasket failure are the two main concerns and unless you have proof by the previous owner they have been already done would be top of my to do list. The early model 370zs also suffered from this so its a consideration either way. My buddy years ago bought an 07 HR, one owner full history and 34K miles. A month later he was at Abbey Motorsport having both issues rectified to the tune of around 1900 pounds (he had other work done as well) Luckily he had factored this year and left with one of the cleanest OEM examples imo.
  21. Sigh think I'd trade my left testicle for a few warm dry days and some car meets
  22. Its an iconic JDM two seater sports coupe yeah, with 8k in modifications yeah, no mention of service history yeah mmmm hmmmm yeah mmmm I might message and offer him the money and see what response I get just for lols. Im feeling extra spicy today
  23. They would be D2R for preface lift lights and D2S for facelift mate. Pre facelift lights have a dipped HID bulb and halogen main beam Facelift lights have one HID bulb, which does dipped and main If yours is a DE revup, then it'll be the later D2S
