  1. Welcome to the Nismo gang buddy! I really hope next year we can get a Nismo stand with all of them together, would be great to see. How you finding her ?

    GT Pack vs GT

Thats a GT, you can see the heated and electric seat switches, the original bose stereo and cruise control buttons on the steering wheel. However, blooming heck thats a steep price!
  3. Welcome to the Nismo club, definitely made the right decision and its one hell of an upgrade over the standard 350. Glad to see I'm not the only one who routinely checked i had bought one at first
  4. And buy me a beer if it does turn out to be a coilpack
  5. Camber doesn't wear tyres that excessively, toe does as you've now found out. I ran much lower then that for easily 3 years and must have covered around 15k miles without any hint of wear on my tyres as the alignment was spot on, and this was only with aftermarket toe bolts at the rear Camber will cause wear over the life of a tyre on the inside edge as your decreasing the contact patch on the road, toe will wear tyres as you're basically dragging them down the road rather then rotating.
  6. Would lay money you have the same issue, the amp kicking in and out is a well known. I bought a second hand one and never had further issues. Its located behind the main sub, behind drivers seat. 20 minute job to swap over
  7. Ok, I'm going to ask again, have you checked the coilpacks and spark plugs? I only ask as you've not mentioned them once I honestly think you've been thrown way off the scent by the MAF sensor, in fact id be willing the lay money its either the coilpacks or plugs. Your symptoms are indicative of this, and identical to the issues I suffered. I would have an intermittent misfire that would come out of nowhere under normal driving or giving it WOT and it was like hitting a brick wall. And then it would clear just as quickly. It even left me stranded at the road side one day for 10 minutes until it cleared and this was the final straw for me. I proved this by letting it run until it started misfiring, at which point I unplugged each coilpack one at a time. I soon found the culprit and replaced all packs and plugs and I can't stress this enough, it never ran so well before. This probably sounds like a dig post and its honestly not meant like that, just don't want you throwing money at injectors when I'd highly doubt its those and basic checks on the coilpacks could save you alot of money
  8. I would say this is more of a beam image issue and less to do with the actual brightness. Are your headlights showing there age with yellow oxidation?
  9. Tarmac Sportz rear side lourves on mine made a nice difference, fitted well too.
  10. Thats a misfire code. I'd recommend as I've said above, engine running go round unplugging each coilpack one at a time. If you hear a noticeable drop in engine running, its good. If you don't hear anything, thats your suspect. You can then try a known working one if someone is local, or go straight in with plugs. Plugs, coilpacks and further diagnostics in that order
  11. The easiest way to determine if its a misfire is to while running, unplug each coilpack one at a time. If you hear a noticeable change in engine sound and running, thats good. If you unplug one and nothing happens, thats your suspect cylinder. I would advise plugs, and coilpacks in that order. As azurez33 says you can have a misfire without throwing an engine light, as I did. I replaced plugs and packs and it never ran better
  12. Don't worry, we think most customers are the same. Normally numpties (politely) when they turn up with there self diagnosed issues My favourite one is when people void warranties
  13. What a car, I'm super envious of this. Probably my all time favourite JDM classic. Don't suppose you want a MK2 nismo do you So whats the plans? Full restoration?
  14. You lot must visit some poor main dealers, can safely say mine is nothing like these horror stories you hear. And properly proud of that
  15. That part is true, many many dealerships including my own were told for a long time that we weren't allowed to wash, hoover or even prep the cars from service or sales. Trust me, it was as boring for us as it was for customers. Have you tried contacting customer services? A strongly worded letter or email goes right to the top, trust me
  16. Im still putting money on gallery gaskets being your issue. The shuddering is a well known result of low oil pressure not reaching the top of the engine.
  17. Its one of the LLF mpire and DMO wannabes so its no real loss. Im sure on a BHP to braincell count the GTR had better number then the entire crowd tbh
  18. Ok cool think im going to give them a go. Ill do interior lights first and see what they're like
  19. I was looking at these guys last night, seem like some really well thought out. Did you purchase from them?
  20. Maybe I'm being daft but I've found the website but it seems more like a blog? Can't find any specific bulbs for sale
  21. What's up everyone, Looking for recommendations and places to buy tried and tested LED bulbs for my Nismo. I recently fitted Cannibus LED rear numberplate units which I love However it wasn't all good news, I fitted led indicators which hyperflash unfortunately. So what I'm after are Interior map lights Indicators Reverse lights Can anyone help?
  22. I want this so badly, just wrong timing !
  23. Out of all my previous cars, this is the one that got away. Owned it before I even passed my driving test, and modified the life out of it. I practically rebuilt every nut and bolt. Started life as a little 1.4L, ended life with a B18 swap and full Type R interior. 6 years of work ended in probably 5 seconds of stupidity when I wrote it off racing a R33 skyline on a twisty B road
  24. Ahh, what I'd give for a brand new 300zx. Id argue one of the best 'z' cars as they really threw caution to the wind
