  1. Does that sound like something I'd do haha. It's been washed regularly, but it's not seen rain in a while! So updating this, I got David the mechanic at work to fit the Injen exhaust for me on Friday. Went all ok, does require some tweaking as it touches in one place but that's down more to my sports cats being an odd design. Holy smoking batman does it sound good. Very very deep with no rasp, no drone but loud when you put your foot down. Under normal driving I'd say it's only marginally louder then stock. I love the look of the titanium tips as well
  2. Right, time for an overdue update! I attended Japfest at Silverstone, which honestly has been my favourite show to date. Finally managed to put some names to faces, was awesome to meet you all! Big shout goes out to Stuggerz and Steve, was great to finally meet you guys. I also ended up getting some major sun burn Next up I attended Motors by the moat in Maidstone, leads castle. What a great little retro show it turned out to be and was great to meet up with Steve and Martin again. Steve lowered the tone by squirting his sausage over a yummy mummy but that's a story for another day New album dropping 2019. Now, onto modifications. The car is booked in next Wednesday to have it's bonnet and front bumper painted, pretty normal for those who know me. BUT MY NEW EXHAUST TURNED UP!! Introducing the Injen SES true duel exhaust. Some will know that I had ordered an ARK grip system, but they turned out to be completely useless and even lied about it being shipped which resulted in 6 weeks waiting for no reason. This was around £150 quid cheaper so not alot in it, and was purchased on Adrians recommendation. It's absolutely beautiful, weld porn! Here's hoping for no issues! With the wild rain we've had my garage decided to flood which sucked, but what can you do. First time my Zs gotten wet in a year haha. I will be at JDM combe this weekend although it looks doubtful the Z will be. Hopefully see some of you there!
  3. Reasonably strict yeah. It's a big event with huge crowds, they don't want people driving at peak times
  4. Scorch level = Godly Japfest at Silverstone was the best show I've ever been to. Looking forward to JDM combe now, which isn't that far away!

  6. No passes here however I do have a confirmation email from Frankie two weeks ago so will use that to get in. Paid for two cars so I'm not going to take any B.S. lol
  7. We've booked the Travelodge at Newbury Chievly M4 for Saturday night as it just breaks up the journey for us. We'll be leaving about 5:45 Just to give enough time to hopefully avoid the queues to get in
  8. What's happening convoy wise? Are we all meeting somewhere and going in together?
  9. Has anyone received there passes yet? With a week to go nearly it's getting a bit close no?
  10. So a successful weekend spent completely de-contaminating the car from the rather bleak winter we had. Started by washing it off twice, followed by snow foam, then washed twice with the double bucket method before then being polished and waxed. Wasn't completely without mishap, managed to loose an arch liner down the duel carriage way. Lowered Life! I also started the process on a order for a rather large, and special item. Hopefully be able to tell more once I know more As always, picture whoring Japfest is so close, I can't wait!
  11. Ironically I dreamt that my Z got written off last night while parked outside my house Pretty sure I've got Japfest on the brain
  12. I looked into it, but depo headlights are for LHD cars and even for £600 quid, the thought of headlight aim MOT worries put me off. I wanted zero issues hence going OEM. Luckily for me both of these are in great condition so when I sell the spare, I'll be close to breaking even
  13. Yes guys, the ARK grip is now on my shopping list after lots of research. Loud enough when I want it but none of that V6 rasp. Best get saving! Martin, I might see you at Japfest If you're going, if not then Motors by the Moat
  14. Sold to this man here! Pleasure meeting you buddy, hopefully see you soon
  15. Don't sweat it, doesn't matter if it's modified or not! My buddy is bringing his Stock HR and I'm bring my money pit DE, it's all about the love of Zs and forum community!
  16. Here for sale we have a passenger side HR headlight. It's complete with all bulbs and ballests in full working condition. The lense does require refurbishment as it's dull in colour, with some small scratches at the top which I have tried to picture. If you've been looking for HR headlights you know how rare these are. I'm looking for £350 posted but would prefer collection. I do know what they're worth, but I will listen to sensible offers. There are traders on here that charge £415 each for these!
  17. Here for sale we have my now spare set of DE headlights. I've upgraded to HR so these are now surplus to requirements. I had the headlights refurbished about two years ago, and then had them clear coated to prolong there life. Both headlights are in great condition with minimal marks on the lenses. The driver's side has started to mist up and this can be seen on the inside, where it's starting to lift the plastic. Looking online I've seen sets go for £250+ which is remarkable! Ideally I'd like £150 for the pair, they are complete with all bulbs and ballests in working order. This is a collected price but shipping can be arranged at further cost
  18. Here for sale we have 6 OEM Nissan 350z coilpacks for sale. I recently took the plunge and replaced mine for peace of mind. Before being removed they'd covered 84K miles. Nissan want £95 each for these and that's with my discount, so I'm asking £145 posted which I think is fair. Will also split them as spares or repairs if people want Located in Littlehampton, West Sussex
  19. And finally complete. The HR headlights are a literal, excuse the pun, night and day difference to the DE headlights. I took it out last night and for the first time in nearly 3 years, felt comfortable driving it at night. Going down the bodyshop on the 11th to have the bonnet painted and bumper touched up. Next on the list is the Japspeed exhaust as it's caused me no ends of problems. I can't decide between the invidia gemini or Ark grip, so all input is welcome
  20. Fitted my HR headlights today and I absolutely love them! Slight snag is that the passenger headlight is wanting to steam up slightly. My first port of call is going to be trying to pinch the spare rear seal I have and see if that cures it, if Not I'll buy new from Nissan. However, has anyone found a cleaver way of curing this? What have you used or done? Drilling holes is not an option before anyone asks haha. Where are the ventilation holes on a HR Headlight? I wonder if mine are blocked Thanks everyone
