I did bud yes, before my thread got turned into a sorry state. Anyway, I'll copy and paste what I wrote there and share the pictures. Hopefully it's some use to you, and don't hesitate to message me if you want any specific pictures or videos "So an update for those who are in a similar boat as me with a MK2 Nismo On Monday the Invidia Gemini that I ordered from Tarmac Sportz turned up, perfectly packaged and right on time. Today after work I decided to make use of the workshop and fit the exhaust myself, as why have a dog and bark yourself. I want to say a massive thank you to Bob and Chris at Tarmac sportz for first class service, information and options I will say the Invidia Gemini was not my first choice, which was the ARK grip V2 however out of the box these do not fit MK2 nismo's and require welding to fit, which I couldn't bring myself to do on a £2100 pound system out the box. The welding and design on the invidia is gorgeous, and a credit to them. Removing the old system was a breeze part due to a workshop full of tools and a relatively low mileage exhaust system. Total time for removal and fitting the Invidia was an hour and a half. Fitment is perfect in terms of not hitting the chassis or differential clearing sections including the lower chassis brace and the rear bumper. It's not perfect cosmetically as due to the longer rear on the Nismos the tail pipes do sit shorter in the bumper then ideally liked, however I have been since able to realign them for a better fit. They are on the smaller side for Nismos so could ideally benefit from 5 inches tips in the future. Sound wise it's borderline perfect, with a deep rumble at cruising speed and a lovely tone under throttle. As others have said its everything the Nismo should have been from the factory. Personally, I'd have liked a touch louder so in the future I'll be looking to get the Y pipe baffles removed. Overall I'm very very happy considering the battle us Nismos owners have getting an exhaust. Hopefully with time it'll get a little louder" So that's my write up on the Invida Gemini. I took the car out for a second spirited drive Thursday evening and I do really enjoy how it sounds. I do wish it was a tad bit louder as you can put it into 6th at 70mph and I'd go as far to say its as quiet as OEM, which don't get me wrong isn't a bad thing. Truthfully I'm still looking at exhaust options and I wouldn't be surprised at myself if in 6 months time I've changed again in the pursuit of the perfect exhaust. Ratings wise I'd break it down like so Fitment : 9/10 - a point lost simply to the tips being on the smaller side for a Nismo and sitting a little recessed back, but as for on the car it went on a dream Sound : 8/10 - it's how the car should have come from factory and for the gentleman moder it fits the bill perfectly. Downshifting sounds lovely without it being full of pops and bangs with a nice gurgle and the only drone I've found is going up a light incline at 70mph in 6th, but it's completely bearable. I just wish it was a tad louder for that slightly more "big grin" factory because if you drive it sensibly its very tame Quality Vs Cost 10/10 - the workmanship and quality of the exhaust vs what it cost compared to other manufacturers is probably its best point. The welds, fitment and finish are second to none, many at work were surprised it only cost £1260. They were expecting more. Its extremely competitive in what it can offer without breaking the bank

Glad the old airing cupboard trick mate, I'm sure with the new seals that should be the end of your condensation issues. Been such a wet winter we've seen alot of dry cars coming back in with condensation issues. You could always put a silica pack in the offending unit in the future should it come back

If that's the case then why does the ARK grip not fit MK2 nismos? Payco had this exact issue and had to get it modified to fit as it was too short and fowled the differential

Nothing wrong with how I've worded it, you solely jumping to the wrong conclusion and shooting your mouth off. No where did I imply that it had any involvement with Tarmac sportz. Secondly, if you'd looked for even remotely more then two seconds at the pictures you'd see it looks NOTHING like their workshop Now you're getting defensive because you've been called out on it. Take a back seat, sit down and wind your neck in. You should know better

You owe Bob an apology because I happen to work in a main Dealership 6 hours away from Tarmac sportz and they had absolutely nothing to do with fitting my exhaust. Next time don't assume and jump to completely wrong conclusions

I feel your pain, I've been researching an exhaust for a MK2 nismo for probably the last 6 months if not more. I made a thread in the exhaust section called "exhausted with exhausts". The Problem we run into with our MK2 Nismos is that the back end is longer and the differential is bigger, which very few of the aftermarket exhausts cater for, nor do the websites share much information. I found the idea of having to modify an exhaust system that was around 1200-1800 pounds ridiculous when they should just be able to bolt up and fit first time. My idea choice would have been an ARK Grip V2 but this would have required cutting and welding straight out of the box on a £2200 exhaust. Often you'll find the back end hidden away in the bumper and most of them requiring modification to sit perfectly. I've finally made my choice and have purchased an Invidia Gemini from Tarmac Sportz. Like you I did not want excessively loud or any drone, and from speaking to Bob he pretty much sold me on these. As others have said the Gemini is definitely on the quieter side until you really step on it but still producing that love V6 warble that they are known. Me personally will be leaving it at that as fitting a cat back exhaust to an otherwise stock car will have very little if any detrimental effect

Headlights make or break a car in the age category in my opinion, so good job getting them sent away. The bumpers could just be normal paint age ware, don't forget they're plastic apposed to metal so there will always be a shad difference

Evening boys and girl's. Wanting to upgrade the HIDs on my Nismo from the standard factory to brighter HIds, I'm thinking somewhere between 5500 - 6000K. Two questions, can someone tell me if you can change the bulbs from inside the arches without removing the headlights, and what type of HID bulb it is? Is it D2S? Secondly, I've been looking at new steering wheels, like the grip royal etc. I like the idea of a factory looking steering wheel preferably with a flat bottom. Has anyone bought any and where from?

I don't unfortunately, that's where my knowledge ends. All I can tell you with certainty is that if you have a 2006 revup, and from the photo you posted you definitely have facelift headlights

Personally, I'd be replacing the rear cover, number 26800N and then the seal around the lower ballest cover, number 26033M. These would be the cheapest fixes. Specifically 26800N is the main offender for letting moisture into the headlight

With Alex on this, take headlight out and remove the rear main cover and dry the headlight out in an airing cupboard. Get a new cover with O ring while you're at it and check the drainage tube isn't blocked while you're at it, jobs a goodun

This is what you'll encounter under the MK2 spoiler on the later model Nismos. All but 4 need smoothing, preparation and painting before the new spoiler is ready to go. I've been really struggling to find a bodyshop prepared to take this on

As far as I'm aware, you do not have any ADAS systems fitted. ADAS are things like blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist which are normally things like radars, multiview cameras and such. So I wouldn't worry at all. I can say this pretty confidently owning a 370z as well

Did you remove the little square inside the headlight so you could fit the LED or did you find the right size bulbs? Have you got a link?

Millers fully synthetic 5w-40 CFS will suit you just fine, ran it for years in my 96K DE and opie oils do a good deal on it. Now running it in my 39K Nismo Just check oil level regularly on these and you'll be fine. Funny, I found old pictures of mine and Andys car back in 2019

Goodridge lines, the HELL lines arnt made to fit and coming with annoying pinch line clips which eventually pull through. I wore through two lines on my 350z before I finally upgraded to goodridge. Braided lines will make a very positive difference no matter which brand you go for though
