  1. Staggered fitment? 9.5 front 10.5 rear?
  2. Yeah, just create an introduction post and keep it updated as you go. I haven't a build thread as such but just used my Zeds introduction page, works out the same in the end :-)
  3. Yep, Chris at Tarmac sports sorted me our with some red spline-drives - he has plenty colours to chose from :-)

    REAR DIFFUSER

Looking good! I habitually park away from everyone else in car parks for this exact reason. If I can't get a space off on my own, I find somewhere else to park. Time consuming, but better than the alternative.
  5. I was charged £200 for clear undersealing my 380RS - even though it won't ever get used in bad weather - wondering if there is any value is in underselling a car that's probably seen the worst of the UK weather - unless of course you've been keeping it out of the snow & salt since new? Just a thought
  6. No. They are just getting younger, mate.
  7. Welcome to the fun - ZeppoJeff is NE Scotland's regional organiser & will be along shortly with a welcome of his own. There are quite a few Zeds in Aberdeen & shire so stay tuned for news about meets :-) Welcome again
  8. Ironically, I just finished reading this http://www.thedrive.com/opinion/5189/the-truth-behind-what-caused-paul-walkers-fatal-crash?xid=the-drive_socialflow_facebook

  10. Interested but my Rota has me offshore for half of July - until the dates are firmed up I can't tell if I'll make it or not.
  11. Na, not an import - first thing to check is the rear bumper - the Japs have square recesses for number plates, UK spec cars have rectangular ones. Not always a sure-fire way to identify an import but usually enough.
  12. Just ran a VIN check REG is DX10EKW VIN is JN12AAZ33U0350677 Maker NISSAN Name 350Z Production Date 03.2006 Body color K23 - NEW SILVER Market Europe (RHD) Body MT Engine VQ35DE Features 350ZPACK Options F/IRL Body CONVERTIBLE Type 2LJARSYZ33EEA----- Interior color G - BLACK So, 2006 car masquerading as a 2010. Someone at the DVLA needs their arse felt.
  13. The interior looks like a 2006 GT model roadster & rear led lights support that. Is it possible this was kept tucked away for 4 years prior to first registration?

    Zed security

Alarm & Immobiliser is the lowest common denominator in vehicle security, if you're serious about keeping your car secure then hiding your keys in your home when you're not in goes without saying. I have a cobratrak system & subscription active, but for any near-stock 350z with no expensive modifications, it's really not worth shelling out for. The best "security" device I can recommend is a decent forward & rear facing dash-cam, for myriad reasons.

    Zed security

This is another reason why I won't miss neighbours!
  16. I always love the whine my 380RS diff makes when I'm applying power & miss it when I have to back it off - it sounds like your grumble is appearing under the same condition? Can't hurt to check/replace the diff fluid at the next service, anyway :-)
  17. Brand spanking new! Very Nice :-)

    Sausage

    Chorizo is a sausage, yep.
  19. Welcome to the forum With that mileage the only thing I can think of is pay attention to the clutch & banana arms which although not that common have occasionally been a thing to look out for. VQ engines are good for 200,000 miles if properly cared for, so with 9 stamps in the book at an average of 10,000 per stamp - on paper servicing seems fine to me. Does the car have any performance mods?

    Sausage

Nduja is the best sausage in the world. Can be used in anything from soups, to sauces, spreads, pizzas, condiments, stuffings, marinades - the lot. It varies in spiciness & is quite a rare delicacy outside of Italy but becoming more and more popular. Lots of pizzerias etc get it shipped in for use as an ingredient but I'm well-versed in using it for home cooking now.
  21. Can pick up a decent R32 or R33 GTR for not far off that money. Ridiculous pricing.
  22. Only way to be sure is to stick a mechanical gauge on the engine, need to visit a garage for that most likely. In all honesty, if your seeing an increase in pressure at all, it means the oil is circulating, which is all you actually care about. I'd leave taking it to the garage until the next service or something changes (such as constant zero pressure) Good luck :-)
  23. Check your oil level first, pressure is all well and good but if there's no oil inside your engine that will cause far more damage.
  24. Not the most original of posts, but I'm starting a new sim-only contract when I get home so weighing up the pro's and cons of a new handset. Currently have a OnePlusOne - which is a great little phone but is somewhat muted in processing power these days (I run loads of games and emulators on it) but the storage of 64GB is plenty for what I do. Options so far are the Oneplus3, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge S7 Note (Although the battery issue has kind of scotched that) LG G5, although think its a bit gimmicky with the modular slot things Anyone got any of the above phones or have anything not above that you feel is worth mentioning? I should note, I'm not an iPhone fan but in the interests of diversity, feel free to write a recommendation to others if you feel the need.
