  1. Blue car is a nicer colour and well priced for its miles and pack. It is a DE engine so 276bhp and someone has already installed a cobra exhaust - be worth finding out if it has a plenum spacer & decats although the seller might not know. The black car is a 2006, so will have the revup engine, there's an aftermarket air intake installed which means it's possible there's been some additional investment in performance or a remap. Something to check. The black one will be slightly more powerful than the blue one assuming no unseen mods - the only issue I have is the description labeling everything as nismo spec. Brake discs, exhaust etc. It isn't, trust me. It'd be worth a damn sight more than £6k if it had anything Genuine Nismo on it. Good luck with your hunt :-)
  2. If I hadn't bought a set off ZMANALEX when I did I'd be all over these. Just a matter of being patient imo
  3. Going to need to remove Jumzo from this as he relented and bought himself a wankel.
  4. I got the Blackvue DR750LW-2CH offering - HD front & rear. Absolutely faultless.
  5. Congrats! Very pretty car :-)
  6. Yeah, be prepared for that - you have the missus in the car so it's not likely he can pull a fast one. As for costs of repair - really depends on who you get to do the work. I'd say there's about £1200 of work given its across a few panels but I'm not an expert.
  7. I take it he isn't contesting that it was his fault?
  8. Not the ZZ1, but I will buy the RB26'd ZZ2 if one ever comes up. Loved that car.
  9. Before I bought the 380RS I was originally on the lookout for a Tommy Kaira, but these turned out to be most elusive. Rick at RaceCarParts recently spotted this beauty. Tommy Kaira ZZI - made an appearance in Gran Turismo 2 17 years ago.
  10. ¥5,428,500 at time of release, so £42,500 in today's money or a shade under £25k when £ was at it's strongest against the Yen in 2007. Very lucky I bought mine before the currency shitstorm took hold.
  11. I'm looking at getting one of these; http://www.vboxcomm.com/product-page/satellite.html Basically, I'm after a freesat / DAB DVR that can broadcast the channels across my home network, so the box can be in the lounge, but the content watched on any DLNA device in the house (IPTVs, ipads, phones, laptops etc). Not sure how this ties in with apps like Kodi etc - but fundamentally, this is the functionality I'm after.
  12. Not in the UK http://www.goo-net-exchange.com/usedcars/NISSAN/FAIRLADY_Z/700040221030160930001/index.html They don't appear very often, but when they do they attract a lot of attention.
  13. I honestly can't remember if this was the same Yellow GT4 from before but that's a fairly large chunk of cash (£16,000) for a 2005 model 350z - does this reflect what they are truly worth? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-350-Z-GT4-GRAN-TOURISMO-LTD-EDITION-65-176-Yellow-Manual-Petrol-2005-/291793932312?hash=item43f0461018:g:2ioAAOSwunJWFO6U

  15. Sounds like you need to bleed your brakes, pal.
  16. I'd just be patient & wait - if there's still no joy on Monday, post back up here & i'll PMyou a step-by-step guide on getting your cash back (or the item)
  17. In both cases I'd have simply walked away and taken my business elsewhere, buddy - appreciate you got a bit of a bargain the 2nd time but nothing says "Eff You" like voting with your wallet.
  18. You are covered for 180 days from the date that you pay for an item with paypal - if he doesn't send you your item you simply need to raise a dispute with paypal who will take the appropriate measures to inform the seller he or she needs to give you the item or provide a refund. After the seller responds - or if you're not satisfied to wait, you can elevate it to a claim where there's basically zero chance the seller can keep the item AND the money. YOu are only covered by paypal protection if; You bought a physical item You bought an item described as “new,†but received something that was used You purchased 3 items, but only received 2 The item was damaged during shipping The item is missing major parts (that the seller didn’t report) You purchased an item described as authentic, but received a knockoff instead You aren't covered if you've purchased Real estate Motorized vehicles Custom-made goods that aren’t received Industrial machinery Prepaid cards Items that violate ebay policies Anything bought in person (not over the internet) Send Money transactions to friends or family Disputes filed more than 180 days after the purchase for item not received and significantly not as described claims Unauthorized transaction claims reported more than 60 days after the transaction date of the transaction Items that were described accurately by the seller By and large, most delays simply revolve around the banks release of funds - but none of the transactions I've had were delayed by more than 2 working days. I'd wait until after the weekend before making a claim. Regardless of what he does with the money or the account, Paypal guarantee you a prompt refund and basically take the debt on themselves & chase it accordingly.
  19. Yeah - it sucks man - don't think any car particularly endures its good looks in autumn but black definitely shows up the grime. My satin-black Z was horrendous at keeping clean, so feel your pain. Thank god for garages & daily drivers :-)
  20. Not even the 380 survived that onslaught unscathed!
  21. There was an S-Tune brought over by Nissan themselves, Reg No R1 GTR and I read somewhere that one individual imported a second hand one from Japan, what happened to these cars is unknown. As far as Genuine Nismo's go, you are right, one was specially imported by a dealer and I think this one was recently up for sale. It's possible that a couple more Nismo's were imported second hand too. As far as Nismo kits go, you'll struggle to find any of the genuine parts that make up The Nismo kit....plenty of replica's to choose from although the quality of these varies widely to say the least Pete A user on NS imported a JDM silver Version Nismo back in 2008 & another (possibly the same one) was up for sale in South Wales sometime last year before being bought by someone in London - iirc the old owner joined the forum & tried to convince some of us that it was a 380RS. I have never seen an S-Tune in the country - my guess is that it is in someone's private collection gathering dust and serious appreciation.
