  1. ^^^ This Cars under 10 years old need an IVA - Jurgen at JM got my 380RS road legal.
  2. I gave the car a proper going over this time home and took some decent photos of the exterior and interior for anyone who's interested :-)

    X-wing Z

Harmless fun, but as a true blue star wars fanatic, I'm more than a little biased :-) Before the missus moved in I spent a buckload of cash renovating my maisonette (fancy word for a 2 storey flat) and had these two rorshach wall prints commissioned for the dining room and the lounge. We've just bought ourselves a new house so I'm already angling to get a room wholly dedicated to my inner geek haha :-)
  4. In total agreement about breaking in new tyres, not a myth and not restricted to MPSS. I've lost traction with brand new Eagle F1's on a fwd car before so I'm always as ginger as Chris Evans when I'm breaking em in. If you weren't expressly told that you need to be careful for the first 60 odd miles it might be worth appealing with a letter from your local garage who fitted them - the vast majority of people will assume new tyres will perform at thier peak straight off the bat so it's unlikely they can insist you knew.
  5. My old zed was a million times nicer in every regard than that. Wrap was professionally fitted, decent coilovers, wedssport wheels & Nismo internal trim mods. I got £6250 - whoever pays £10k for that Zed is an absolute idiot. Didn't I see a similar Nismo V3 replica nose for sale on here?
  6. Know the owner from the Nismo Facebook group, they have a community that rivals ours in terms of activity and engagement.
  7. Was a stunning RX7 at Scottish Car Show this year, proper beauty.
  8. Porsche 911 Carrera 4 EVO X GSR Impreza WRX M135i TVR Chimera / Tuscan Maserati Spyder GT Jag XKR
  9. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Nismo-S-Tune-350z-Fairlady-Fresh-Import-Amazing-Car-45k-fast-car-/122076144851?hash=item1c6c4e24d3%3Ag%3A85QAAOSwIgNXp2OS&autorefresh=true £8,800 for a 2002 model import? I have my own reservations about the car's description but regardless of that, it isn't worth £8,800
  10. Bank transfer if you want to avoid the usual teller questions for withdrawing your "own" money. It's swift and immediate but has its pitfalls.
  11. An excellent point!
  12. There's a "millenials" rant in there somewhere! In fairness I once confused the debadged front of a DC2 for an S14.
  13. These hoodies are ace - love mine. if this was a medium I'd be all over it ha ha :-)
  14. Welcome to the Forum. There's a car meet in Aberdeen (Kingswells) planned for 7pm on Saturday - hoping to attract a fair few Zeds - be happy to have a prospective Zedder along. You can find details in the Regional Meets subforum :-) Welcome again.
  15. In Aberdeen it's not uncommon to see all manner of Porsches, M series, AMGs, Ferraris, GTRs and the like so its unsurprising the people who get most enthused about the Zed are folk who are into Japanese sportscars. I myself get more excited seeing a tidy ST205 or Evo IV than I do a Porsche cayman or panamera. I always flash a nice old-school Japanese car, whether I'm in the missus celica or my 380. Favourite example is the R35, amazing car, extremely popular and now the most virulent of supercars. Do I flash them? No. Absolutely not. Yet to find anyone outside of friends and colleagues who knew what a 380RS was before I imported one. Closest assumption Ive had was "kitted 350z" & "370z nismo", which is pretty close for non-car people to be fair.
  16. "Holy Thread resurrection batman" - To save someone the bother Did nothing come of this members planned Amuse Superleggera bodykit? Well over a year since this last update.
  17. Check with your insurer mate, most policies have free or very cheap windshield repair as standard. I got a chip on my old celica nearly 7 years ago, admiral sent out a windscreen guy and he repaired it within a few hours, didn't count as a claim, either.
  18. Any mates who've bought a motor off them in the past? Fancy giving the car a once over for me? Haha!
  19. Been looking around for a new daily and the Suzuki Ignis sport has piqued my interest because they aren't very common. There's one down at MotorHaus Burnley and wondered if anyone had any dealing with them before I go any further. Looks like they used to operate under a different name which by itself means nothing, but could mean everything. Any feedback welcome & appreciated :-) http://www.motorhausburnley.co.uk/used-cars/suzuki-ignis-1-5-vvt-sport-3dr-burnley-201608036464810
  20. Hahaha! Yeah, I've seen a fair amount of them. I even got to visit a love hotel and make use of some of the facilities. An N64, porn, sex toys and a double bath. Don't make eye contact with anyone in the lift as you leave. Or rather do, their reaction is priceless
  21. That is very odd. The Japanese don't need an excuse to be odd, though.
  22. As someone who used to have to jump start his old zed EVERY TIME he came from offshore, I don't blame you for worrying. Best thing to do is buy some extra long jump leads and stick them in with the space saver in the boot, then you (kind of) won't have to worry :-)
  23. Video here, it's not graphic, despite the warning. http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/north-walsham-hit-run-shocking-video-shows-man-deliberately-run-over-attempted-murder-1574295 Looks like there's something more going on - wasn't just a random attack - one of the people he drives at throws something at the car when he comes back around, that's not the behaviour of someone surprised by an accident, that's someones response to an attack - an attack they expected?
