  1. If it makes you feel any better I've overheard mine being called a 370z
  2. Definitely challenge them on it - make up some equally BS excuse about your insurance policy stating you always have a camera running and switching it off is completely unacceptable. In future, advise whoever is working on the car that the dash-cam stays ON or the work goes elsewhere - your perfectly within your rights to request this & unless they have something to hide, that shouldn't be an issue.

    Found a Zed

Book Price would have that sat at around £9,500, mate. The colour combo might be rare but thats a saleability factor, not added value imo.

    Found a Zed

Need a bit more information to formulate a value I'm afraid. What year? What engine? What mods if any / wheels / service history etc. Do you have a link to an advert?
  5. Mine came with the car, but its a bit tatty now
  6. Single throttle then, should be a lot easier to work on / replace if it comes to that :-) Good luck!
  7. I must be the only one on the forum who hasn't bought one
  8. You can tell by the age most times, 2003-2006 are DE and DE Revup engines, 2007 and later are HR. DE is single Throttle, HR is Twin Throttle. Pics for illustration; DE Bonnet - single Throttle DE Engine, Single Throttle HR Bonnet - Twin Throttle HR Engine - Twin Throttle Let us know how you get on :-)
  9. Resets here - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/53148-how-to-ecu-accelerator-pedal-throttle-valve-resets/page__hl__%20throttle%20%20position%20%20reset%20%20procedure
  10. If it is the throttle - there's a how-to located here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/53148-how-to-ecu-accelerator-pedal-throttle-valve-resets/page__hl__%20throttle%20%20position%20%20reset%20%20procedure
  11. Mass Air Flow Sensor - meters how much air is getting in through your filtered intake TB - Throttle body - self explanatory You can get to codes by doing the peddle dance but its miles easier using a mobile phone and an OBD2 plug - I'm sure someone local to you can let you borrow it to diagnose your issue.
  12. My guess is throttle body position sensor. You can re-calibrate these with the pedal dance but seeing as your were losing power intermittently prior to the CEL light coming on I'm assuming it was on its way out. If you get an OBD2 reader and retrieve the code it'll confirm or deny it. P2135 is the error code thrown out by a faulty throttle body. I don't think you can replace the sensor on these - it'll be a whole new throttle body - what model of 350z have you got? DE or HR?
  13. Sounds like a sticky throttle-body to me. If there are no slip lights appearing to indicate the vdc/tcs is kicking in thats the most likely cause.
  14. Welcome along - what kind of Civic do you have? EP3 EK9 or FD2?
  15. And this guy wants nearly £28k http://www.autotrader.co.uk/used-cars/nissan/370-z/used-nissan-370-z-3-7-v6-nismo-2dr-perth-fpa-201609017336186?atcido=soc-cars-twt001 Similar miles & same mk
  16. Near double the miles and same mk http://www.autotrader.co.uk/used-cars/nissan/370-z/used-nissan-370-z-3-7-v6-nismo-2dr-aldershot-fpa-201604102828337?atcido=soc-cars-twt001 Same price he's asking.
  17. I think £25.5k is very good for that mileage - some examples I've seen are a little bit more than that for about £26-£27k I'd take it mate, a steal at that price.
  18. Been checking these quite regularly - £24 to £25k sounds about right as nissanman said before
  19. Have to make more effort to get the 380 down to some of these shows next year - only managed 2 in Scotland this year due to work commitments.
  20. Welcome to the forum furry boots in Scotland are you fae?
  21. Do you have a DE or HR car? I believe these only work on DE's but I'm willing to be proved wrong.
  22. The primary issue hurting your aspirations to own a 2015 model Nismo Z34 is the exchange rate, Right now, Z34 nismos are around 5 million yen, which straight-conversion means around £36,000 - already well inside your budget. This time last year, the same car would have cost you £27,000 - a massive difference. My advice is to either wait until the forex improves or (if you haven't already) enquire at a local Nissan dealership and see if they have ever offered the 370z Nismo in AT. Good luck either way!
  23. Fairl(ad)y looks awesome on those LMGT4's :-) I'll have to swing down past yours sometime to let you take a proper look at her :-)
