Awesome pass on Verstappen in the last race, wheel to wheel when he didnt need to risk contact Plenty of races this year that Nico won and Lewis didnt trouble him, just had to follow him home. Very even in poles for years and years tbf. Lewis is more aggressive is all, not a better driver imo. A tad more outright speed, but it takes more than that to win a championship. Lewis was passed by Nico into turn one at the Spanish GP, another poor start by lewis. Then the red mist came down and wrote his team mate off before turn 4 thinking the race is won in one corner lol Just because you have an overspeed, doesnt mean drive thru the guy ahead. #andnew

Nico this year has been a more complete driver. Prost wining in 89' wasnt because he was faster than Senna, but because he drove each race better, made better use of situations as drove accordinly - the same happen this year. IF someone who knew nowt about F1, watched purely this season alone you'd say they were very closely matched. Most races that were won this season by each Merc driver was a dominate one, to which the other driver was nowhere and never looked to trouble the leader. Lewis fluffed 4-5 starts and that costs him the championship above all else - my opinion

I think the first episode showcasing the holy trinity ie old news had to air as way too time, money and effort went into the production. Same again for the second, I think it's just purely Amazon exercising it's financial muscle. Out the box on the second episode you can tell it's slick with a massive bugdet. Yes we get the point you have millions at your disposal, but they need to get back on track. Il still watch either way as a prime member, but the show is becoming a bonus to the subscription were as I thought it would have been the, movies, box sets, discounted goods and next day delivery.

Yes the mk2 Focus RS 300bhp ie double the cost of a nice 350z too tbf the octy 230 is quicker round the ring than the FRS - driven it, massively quick for its relative bhp but not exciting to me. FWD can be exciting (think Renault Sport 275 and Honda FD2 type R ), however not a patch on RWD imo.

And the Zed is much cheaper to buy also.....

While we here, ring times....... Nissan 350Z (287 PS) 8:26.00 Ford Focus RS 8:26.00 Not an exact science but.... lighter, more power, WAY better tyres too no doubt (350z OE Bridgestones are awful), yet no faster......

350z DE is quicker than DC5 round tsukuba and more fun, good enough for me. Driven my mates new Octavia vRS 230 fitted with the Leon 280 trick diff, miles quicker than a Focus RS round the Nurburgring massively due to that diff (with less power at 280) it goes round corners shockingly quick, proper point and shoot affair. Brake, turn in, apex mash throttle repeat. Was it fun though, was it rewarding not compared to the Zed which takes alot more thought and skill.

I have the same exhaust on mine, albeit the Toyosport version and i think for the $$$ they sound great coupled to a free flowing y pipe.

There she is, if you get the chance the almera GTi MAF is a quick easy win
