i'd go for the R34 GTT. I'm not a fan of skylines but out of all of the models I think that's the best looking and a lot of a car for the money. Easy power gains too.

Clarkson. he should know better. He has been in hot water before. It is the original rhyme, but he could've chosen a better one. Of course, it was never intended to be on camera as part of the show. A good friend of mine had a some cheap wrap on his bonnet. He had a similar problem getting off. It does grip like a baby on a tit.

I get a lot of looks when going towards people but that's thanks to the N-spec front bumper and the Berks/cobra set up.

I had a guy come and look at my Nissan pulsar, he said" how many miles to the gallon?" I said well, depends how you drive it but i'd say around 25 on a good run" he replied " oh? i'd expect better from diesel!" He did offer close to the asking price and I would've taken it if he hadn't said that. I'm glad he did say it and as he was a cretin, I declined his offer.

you get pulled for Blue neons. Five O don't like it as emergency vehicles are the only ones allowed on the road to use blue neon/flashing lights.

uh uh, never. I once let a friend drive me GT-four, he had no idea how to drive a turbo charged car, or any car for that matter. I almost ground my teeth down to the gums sitting next to him. I just don't like anyone driving my car, not even my dad who'll ceremoniously pull away in 2nd and go straight into 6th.

I had a group of 20 somethings walk past my car whilst in traffic. One said "oooo, look at you, aren't you special! " so I got out and said to him " yes, I was once like you, a bum walking the street, but if you get a half decent job, you too can own a 9 year old car.. then you know you've really made the big time, you F**king moron" not that it's anything to do with badge snobbery but had a tenuous link.

oh come on guys, I think we have to accept that some people just have no idea about cars. it may be to your disbelief but it's true. ..with myself! So, monday morning, i'm at my dad's place getting the water off the zed. A few pre-flight checks before take off. I'm reversing slowly out of the drive way, for some strange reason the radio kicks in, I reach over to turn it off, with a wet shoe on the clutch pedal it slips off and wham! backed straight into my old man's 330d BMW that he spent all day polishing. I felt awful. I couldn't believe it. I ease forward and get out. I rush over to the Beemer and find a basket ball size dent in the rear offside door. I look at the back of my Zed. Nothing, no damage apart from a small scratch that I was able to T-cut out. Oh boy was I pi**ed off with myself. I'm usually really careful. So I had to tell him but he wasn't awake yet. When I heard him get up, I made him a cup of tea and broke the news to him, which he took with amazing calmness. I gave him some money to buy a new door and he found one in London he's going to collect today but me oh my, what royal **** up that was. I don't suppose anyone else has done something in a similar vein?

19 with a Zed!!! holy smoke Batman. When I was 19 I had an astra 1.6si. it cost me 300 smackers and 700 in insurance. Yikes!!
