  1. I don't think it's a bad bumper but it's not for the zed, just doesn't work for me.
  2. I know somewhere on here (can't remember where) there is a sticky on body kits which shows a lot of front bumpers to boot. Might wanna have a browse and check it out!
  3. oooo, I could crush a grape!!! very nice indeed. I look forward to the pics fella.
  4. I've got a Pipercross dry panel filter. I think I have got a slightly better throttle response but then again it could just be the placebo effect.
  5. Since no one has given some kind of reply, i'll give it a bash. I've got a cobra back box and mid pipe, so I've opted for a cobra Y-pipe of course. Not sure if japspeed do a Y-pipe but you'd think so if they make a back box and mid pipe. As for the cats, Berks HFCs are popular and for a few pounds more you can get invidia HFCs. Whether they're better or not is anyone's guess. Might make a different sound. Are you getting a pop charger or something like wise to compliment the exaust?
  6. yeah, I never did get it. Car looks good but, why risk ruining it by doing something as reckless as say.... well, driving it?
  7. Apart from the slight difference in price tag, are they more or less the same? Anyone got any thoughts or experience in the matter?
  8. i'm more interested in function than bling, even though I have had pop chargers in the past when I had cold air feeds. I went for the pipercross dry panel filter. Stuperb!
  9. I've always thought K & N are K & Poo! when ever I have bought their air filters (albeit on 2 occasions) all I ever noticed was the car used more petrol. Pipercross on the other hand seem to make a difference from my experience, if not made a great noise.
  10. i'd've thought the main reason why any car loses that kind of power is due to less compression than when it rolled off the production line. Not soley on that basis but that, and a mix of poor servicing by the previous owner perhaps. Plus, like others have said, who knows what power it was making from the get go.

I'd pitch it against the zed any day of the week.
  12. that's depressing. Speaking of which, it was only last night on the local news that there was a report of people waking up to find that their cars had been stripped over night on their drive ways. They showed pictures of a stripped down cars. The woman reported that luxury top model cars were being targeted like the astra, corsa and insignia! I almost choked on my sashimi. She needs to get out more. .
  13. I can empathise. I had a fossil driving a pug 505 drive straight into my pulsar years back. I was gutted for days and days. Really sorry mate. I'd say a write off as others have said. Cost of panels and airbags + labour if you're not doing it yourself = ££££. so what did she have to say for herself?
  14. yeah mine does this too. I'm just going to change everything! To hell with it. Can't be arsed in playing Colombo trying to find the offending article.
  15. Both sets really set off that 370z, by golly it looks good! I'd need to see more pics. It's too hard.
  16. Not really, if you did all the creating mods and the ECU did nothing, it would run very lean and could cause damage to the engine. wouldn't it do the opposite and run rich in order to protect the engine? surely if you had more air going in it would compensate with more fuel? but then again if the ECU did nothing then why would it run lean or rich?
  17. I just use t-cut. rub it like a world champion and it gradually gets all gooey. wipes right off.
  18. I tried pming you Asad but it doesn't want to work. Anyway, I want one!
  19. thanks for the replies! I hate doing exuasts but I'm used to it now. I should have the right tools.
  20. Looking to get a Cobra Y pipe and possibly some Berks HFCs. Just wanted to know the CATS are easy enough to get to in order to get them off. Also where would be the best place to get the Y pipe? Many thanks for any input.
  21. You can only drive as safe as YOU can. Posting up pics like that is pointless. Of course it's down to the driver. Drive like a front bottom and you'll get f**ked like one eventually.
  22. Aha! well explained. I too will polish anything I can to death!
  23. Doesn't heat soak only happen when you're in slow moving traffic or at a stand still? Surely if you're on the move there is flow and you're not getting heat soak? I thought that was the logic.
  24. You'll know if the brake is dragging or if the piston has seized in the caliper because it will be the dirtiest filthiest wheel out of the lot.
