    Tokyo

The Japanese love there euro boxes, and even more so if they're left hand drive.
  2. Sorry! I am a busy man with a new born so getting away from a tsunami of dribble and a manic wife takes some military planning, but hopefully over this weekend i'll get a vid up!
  3. went for another cruise yesterday after work. I can't get enough of the sound once it's warmed up. Sounds like a symphony of evil! In regards to passing an MOT I was under the impression that it depended on how many cells the cat has. Not to clued up on it but as glrnet said, should pass
  4. a bit or G3 or G4? or carbon cleaner? hard work though. Booooo!!
  5. Would a chrome pipe get more heat soak than the standard plastic black one? Also would using gold leaf reflective heat wrap make much of a difference?
  6. TBH jp, I have no idea if it's res or not. When I bought the zed it was standard bar the back box plus mid pipe to Ypipe. i'm not sure how to tell the difference between the res and non res on looks alone. I can only tell you that it's surprisingly quiet at low revs so I'd say it's non res? nevertheless, it's ear splittingly loud after 3500 k onwards to WOT. I'll try to get some sound clips up ASAP
  7. sexy! You won't be disappointed, it'll sound stupendous!
  8. I normally get some young 20 something pull up to my bumper like Grace Jones in a saxo. We get to a set of traffic lights and he pulls up next to me. I glance at him and he revs his Saxo until all tappets are dancing on the bonnet. He pulls away like a screaming banshee and cuts in front of me. The same fella at the same time most mornings. He parks his car in the same car park that I do near work. And every day I arrive before him
  9. Fitted as above, and OMG, how good does it sound? like blood and thunder! I read on here somewhere that someone had the EML light come on after 80 miles on 2 occasions prior to fitting his HFCs, so what a great excuse to do 80 miles plus this weekend with the wonderful weather. No EML light and the car sounds fantastico! Very addictive. get up to 3500 - 4k and... gird your loins. I've done the plenum spacer, velocity stacker, cold air feed and now the exaust system, next up is the re-map/revup! I can barely contain my excitement.

Despite that time I ragged the hell out of it and got done by the old bill for being tanked up of course." I'm not defending the guy but, let's not pretend that we don't give our cars a damn good thrashing from time to time. You bought a 3.5 litre V6 to drive it like you're chauffeuring Miss Daisy to a cake sale? yeah right.
  11. I was under the impression that v-tech engines would benefit from a supercharger rather than blown since their torque figures a pretty pithy at best? or is that just a load of tosh?
  12. I got a complimentary comment left on my windscreen yesterday. it said, parking fine!
  13. conjunctivitis.com... now, there's a site for sore eyes.
  14. Jesus!1 only 50k? And it's bought it? I don't get it. Really sorry for you.
  15. Well as we all know what's best or better is just a matter of opinion. An insignia might be better on a long run but lord knows it'll be more boring, and that's just my opinion. I honestly don't care either, it's all just good banter my keyboard warriors because in the end, I get into my Zed, and I put a smile on my face and all is forgotten. Hail to the Zed!! (even if it is slower than a poxy astra) Enjoy your Zeds!!
  16. so how come this doesn't happen with every 350z DE or HR that has berks HFCs or what not applied to the car? or does it?
  17. sir please step out of the Renault, does this also mean people driving a jag are actually driving this Yes . Good point though so, touché!
  18. Cocked up the post about the double post! And just for the record, i'm not a badge snob, hence why I have a Nissan
  19. nope its a holden aha I see... of course putting a different badge on it makes the difference. Today I think i'll put my fireman uniform on. Even though i'm not qualified or have had the training, I soon will be once i'm dressed as one.
  20. spursmaddave said: I wouldn't mind a Monaro V8, whats wrong with that? Sent from the golf club... what's wrong?... errr, it's a vauxhall?
  21. Strangely enough, I was reading the 150th ed of banzai on the crapper this morning and came across an article about Milners nanotech. According to the article and a few others I have read it's good for enhancing the performance by a few ponies. Yes please!
  22. Going back to the squashed beetle. Surely that is the scirrocco? or is that a squashed Golf? I just don't see it. but yeah, the comment smacks of jealousy
  23. I think this topic is notorious on the forum. A lot of people think it's hard to read, personally I think it's fine. I'd say just make sure you clean it off once pull out and try 2 or 3 times. if the reading is the same 2 or 3 times then that's the level. You just need to get to know it
  24. Actually I think the blue one doesn't look bad at all. I think the black in the middle is doing it a lot of favours.
