  1. If it's any reference I sold a 2007 350z GT HR last July for £10,100 It had 45k on the clock, 1 previous owner, Ebisu Black, standard aside a Cobra cat back (resonated) and some Bronze Rays. Included in the sale was the original unpainted but kerbed Rays and winter tyres. Stamped and serviced every year from new, recent banana arms, a full major service the year prior (diff fluid, gearbox fluid, brake fluid, clutch fluid, engine oil/filter, new spark plugs, air filters etc), very recent Goodyear Eagle f1 asy 2 all round. Aside some stone chips on the bonnet and bumper I'd say it was a minter. No idea if the new owner is a member on here or not. But I wouldn't pay £8k for a modded DE like that, no disprespect. Then again I am a year out, but when you look at the classifieds on here and there is a 370z for sale for under £12k, it certainly gets me thinking if I should come back to Zed land...
  2. Ok, he did collect the car, but despite me telling him to bring a large car for the spare alloys and separate spare tyres, he came in a 3 door Seat Leon. So, he took the alloys and only one tyre, with the intention of coming to collect them at a later date. Fast forward 4 months, he still hasn't collected them, despite numerous requests for him to sort it out, I told him a couple of days ago that they are in the way and are going to be gotten rid of. As predicted, no response. So what's left, 2 rear tyres and one front. So I'll sell them as a pair of rear tyres, with the front thrown in for free. £75 collected from near Bristol, if they don't sell fast I'll be taking them to the tip. Thanks, Mike
  3. Thought I would update, I have taken a deposit on my car, and the winter tyres were part of the deal. So assuming he collects next weekend these are effectively sold. Thanks Mike
  4. I have a set of Nokian WR-A3 winter tyres for sale, fit standard 350z rays alloys. 2 x 245/45/18 6.3mm and 6.2mm 2 x 225/45/18 7.9mm and 7.7mm Plenty of tread remaining on all of them. I bought some bronze rays here a winter or 2 ago with these fitted, I used them for a couple of k miles and took them off when I bought a set of new summer tyres. Collection preferred near Bristol, but I can happily package them up if you wanted to arrange a courier. I think £200 seems reasonable, a new set of these isn't particularly cheap! Cheers Mike SOLD
  5. Thought I'd share as my previous phones wouldn't pair with the 350z, namely the Motorola Moto g. I recently bought a British branded phone (probably Chinese phone) called a Wileyfox Swift. It reviews well, costs next to nothing and best of all, pairs with my 350z Bluetooth successfully! At the time of searching for compatible phone's I couldn't find anything modern that paired with it. Hopefully this helps somebody. Cheers Mike
  6. Other day I went around a sharpish bend, in a bit of a rough area with a pub on the corner, was only going about 15mph, when I pulled away I got a couple of lads get up from their outside seats and give me the "w*nker" hand gesture and a good old shout "fu*king w*nker!", very pleasant, wasn't even going fast. It just happened to be in the 2-2.5k rpm rev range where my cobra booms a bit....
  7. Well if you replace the bushes on their own, you have to worry that your ball joints aren't far behind, which requires a new arm anyway....
  8. Cobra resonated fitted to a HR here, it drones between 2000-2500 rpm, it gets on my tits a bit, but when cruising I learn to drive around it, either up or down a gear. If you are hung over its not a great noise haha. I can't say that everyone who says it doesn't drone is lieing, but I can definitely hear it. On the plus side, it does sound pretty damn good
  9. Were you in Clevedon Shell garage this morning per chance? With I assume your dad in the car? Looked like it had been given a wash, mine on the other hand was looking filthy
  10. Hey, how's it going? I'm a bit more prepared for the next one now, decent brake and clutch fluid, new tyres, and soon ill be sticking in some DS2500 pads to replace the OEM's. Should be good, can't be any worse than those knackard Toyos!!
  11. keep it, or buy a Cayman S The curve ball, buy a VXR8, you know you want to
  12. I recently put a full set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's on the Zed for £464 on tyreleader, fitting was on top of course. What can I say, they are absolutely brilliant, looking forward to trying my second track day at Combe
