  1. Can I just correct this for you Chris; WE need you to finish your garage before WE make any plans... David Have some small GTR aero mods planned when you are ready...
  2. Dear Kettle, I have a confession to make... Your friend Pot I think we all need some serious group therapy... I like the mirror cover.
  3. About 660-670bhp and closer to 600lb/ft torque. I must get mine upgraded to V5 software! David
  4. Welcome to the world of Stage 4.25. Thank the stars you aren't modyfing this one Adrian... just as I'm not... David
  5. Nice looking car and not a bad power output either. Have lots of safe fun. David
  6. A policeman did exactly that didn't he? We all push the upper boundaries of speed limits at times but this will be regarded as a deliberate and wilful disregard for limits and punished accordingly. Whether it is within the driver's or car's ability is completely irrelevant. We have speed limits that are expected to be adhered to and we transgress them with the awareness of consequence. David
  7. I had mine carbon dipped to match my B post cover. Not met anyone yet who hasn't commented favourably on them, Good job! David
  8. My user name there is the same as here. David
  9. Unfortunately Martin, I will be in Marrakech that weekend, but will keep any eye on next meet and bring it along then. In the meantime if you wanted to meet sometime and check it out in depth before you take the plunge I'd be happy to meet up. David
  10. I have the Taramc ones and they aren't CF - but an extremely convincing look-a-like (I knew that before I bought them so not complaining!). These sti alongside the side window "gills" whjich are dipped and you can't tell the difference. So "go dip" young man! David
  11. For the moment, just doing a few cosmetic/"light touch" mods, so far have done: 1) Carbon effect bonnet struts/remove "the stick" (no pic to hand) 2) Re-trimmed wheel (by Jack at Royal Steering wheels), perforated throughout and +2mm extra thickness 3) Carbon trim to the steering wheel control plates (pic added) 4) You can also see the new carbon trim to the audio/air con face plate. OEM is cheap looking plastic on my model year - later ones have carbon effect as standard.Replaced OEM black audio/aircon knobs with knurled silvery finish ones. Black knobs on black background - not to my liking. 6) 2015 Gear knob (slight different Reverse Release control and full leather trim - earlier ones were hard plastic around the top. You know how much of a pain removing the 350z knob is? Well to remove/refit this one took 3 minutes (including opening the box!)
  12. Sly must feel like he has lost a limb... David
  13. Am liking the bolts Adrian... ... hmmm... I removed the bonnet "stick" when I put the struts on though! David
  14. hahaha - yes of course you will... Lovely start Bob. David
  15. Congrats Buster in finally getting a quality subtle classy colour!!!! Looks absolutely splendid! David
  16. Absolutely agree - just apply a THIN layer and it buffs off easily and gives great top coat protection. David
  17. Congratulations Adrian and "Mrs Adrian". David
  18. Graham, I did check this out but I am in Prague that weekend! Be there in '16.
  19. After a loooooong week of waiting and a somewhat sleepless Friday night I collected this yesterday morning - an 09 model in DMG. First mod already done (change gear knob to 2015 version) and second mod (a Jack @ Royal Steering wheels re-trim) already underway. My GTR next to my 350Z. Firstly I need to work out how to get MUCH closer to the pillar and secondly I wish I could get my hands on the person who allocated a double space to my apartment with a supporting column in between! The GTR is immense. My 350 is not short of grip but the GTR takes cornering to a whole new level, as for the acceleration -mind blowing! I consider myself immensely lucky to have these two fabulous machines. David
  20. All looks spot on Dan, I do enjoy reading your write ups - highly informative. Sickening to damage a wheel at any time, let alone within an hour, I too would have changed the tyres. David
  21. Will look out for it and see what I can do if you guys wouldn't mind!
  22. The dog is called Hachiko. I lived in Tokyo nearly 2 years (after 3 years in Seoul - which I enjoyed much more) - never been anywhere that the trucks and lorries are kept so clean and shiny in my life! The entire country is OCD! Going to the Nissan/NISMO showroom in Yokohama? David
  23. Mines still there Isn't it always? Yes, I think he should start paying me, not the other way around Does he always remember to take the "For Hire" sign off before you visit Graham?
