  1. Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the purchase of your Skyline.
  2. FCS (Foreign Car Spares) Ltd. These guys are based in Birmingham and I've bought quite a few spares from them for my 200SX S14.
  3. I reckon they look good as they are, the only other colour i'd go for would be white but like you say a bit of a pig to keep clean.
  4. The Nissan dealer in Warwick said pretty much what JP606 said as there were no 350's/370's their either. It seems that they all go to the Nissan High Performance Centres
  5. Are you selling the die wrench with it as well?
  6. Wanted, a dual action polisher in pretty good condition with 5" and 6" backing pads. All makes considered.
  7. spending time in the pilot seat

  8. Hey Toby I'm glad you got things sorted out, I wouldn't be surprised if more owners were to suffer this problem after the wet winter. I was really surprised to see just how good your compression figures are after 207,000 miles as according to Nissan 180 to 195 PSI are really good figures for a strong and the minimum safe figues are142PSI, anything below and you're lookng at a rebuild so wth your lowest figure of160PSI you have a fair way to go before the dreaded rebuild. Again congrats on your fix.
  9. I've used my Zed daily for the past 20 months, rain, shine, frost and light snow and its about due for a wash as i've avoided it since its been so bloody cold and its bloody filthy. I'm looking for a reasonably priced DA polisher if any one has any ideas I'd be very gratefull.
  10. The second S14 SR20DET i had had a built engine and a bigger turbo, racing clutch and was dyno'd at just under 310 hp at the wheels and wasn't much fun to drive around town at all (i think a bad map had a lot to do with it) what with its heavy clutch and coilovers it was rock hard and also really tiring to drive on long journeys ( i ended up wearing earplugs). I considered getting an S15 but even the latest ones of these were just over 10 years old. Thats what made me decide to go for the 350Z, You could always supercharge it for safety as turbo'd 350Z's seem to run into trouble and become money pits.
  11. Ouch that looks painfull, only glad nobody was hurt. Would it be fair to say that there's a possibility it could be a cat C or D?
  12. Jeez that Honda looks Fugly as hell, i wonder if the 'Breadvan' name will stick.
  13. This reminds of a video uploaded to YouTube of a Stanced Nation Nessen Forged Turbo Nissan 350Z in what looks like Azure Blue, but after writing a comment to a Mr West who built it he reckons its a custom colour thats not too far away from Azure blue. Its a similar moody video with both of the cars travelling at about 5mph. An nice video all the same arryJax.
  14. Hey Matt, welcome to the forum and congratulations on the purchase of your Zed Look forward to seeing some photo's of your new beast.
  15. Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the ourchase of your import. You'll find plenty of people on this site with reams and reams of knowledge of the 350 who will be only too happy to help.
  16. Mine used to do this on my SR20DETS14, especially on damp mornings and once the engine had warmed up a little the squealing would stop. The best way to get rid of it would be to (as mentioned already) tighten up the belts.
  17. There's a post on how to paint the upper plennum on www.my350Z.com ,I can't remember the exact link but a search will find it. It goes through the complete process from start (removing oxidation from upper plennum to finish (what to use to prep the surface before applying primer and paint. I've a feeling there's a post on this site as well somewhere. Failing that, get Wasso to polish up your plennum.
  18. I just love the sound and smell of two strokes in the morning. That looks immaculate Ian. What p&sses me off the most is the amount of diesel spilt on the roads, especially on roundabouts, this stuff is worse than black ice. I think i'm going to hang my leathers up after the summer.
  19. A beautiful looking road and a beautiful Zed what more could you ask for out of life??
  20. To Kraziekatz1. i also park my cars on my driveway and have done so for years both with my 350Z and two Nissan SR20DET S14's prior to that with no problems at all. As Ekona says most cars these days are nicked with thieves actually stealing the keys beforehand so they can knock out the alarm and immobiliser and just drive off. Keys left within 6 feet of the front door are the most vulnarable as the thieves jut use a hook to hook them through the letterbox then have the car away. Its best to leave your keys where they aren't visible and are hidden away somewhere.
  21. Welcome to the forum and when you take delivery don't forget to upload some photos of your shiny new beast.
  22. Welcome to the forum Cameron and congratulations on your purchase, i hope you have many hundreds of miles of happy motoring out of it. Looking forward to you uploading some pics so we can see just what a bargain you've bought.
  23. Hello and welcome to the forum, you'll find plenty of YouTube video's with owners recording their exhaust notes (just a shame most have been recorded by phone so the quality isn't that good) I'm sure you'll fnd o that'll suit your budget.
  24. Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase.
