  1. I posted back in October about buying both the front and rear splash guards yet you didn't get back to me. Can you let me know if they're still for sale as I'm still after a set. PM sent.
  2. Would you sell the wheels without the tyres? I so, how much?
  3. Is the Milltek still for sale? I've had a quick look through and noticed a few pm's were sent to you but didn't notice a post to say it had been sold.
  4. Shame these weren't 18" as I'd have snapped your hands off, all the way to your elbow.
  5. Couldn't agree more. Get yourself a Clifford, fitted by a man from Clifford.
  6. Does it come with any UV Protectant to apply after you've used the restorer?
  7. As long as you have the cradle for it to plug into along with switches that control the HU on the steering wheel then Yes.
  8. I'm being lazy here, but I'm sure there a list on this site whereby each Nissan Stealer (sorry) Dealer has been rated by members of the site. It's worth checking out. I have a dealer not too far from me and to be honest It'd be a stretch to let them put air in my tyres. Marshall in Cambridge eh? I don't know if they are a high performance centre or not and to be honest I don't know if this makes any difference to their knowledge or quality of work but I'd be prepared to travel up to 100 miles to have work done by a garage/mechanic I trusted and whose reputation had been hard earned.
  9. I'm sure the 350Z has a Cat 1 Thatcham approved alarm as standard so I don't really see the point in wasting money on another one unless you're after the remote start feature that some of them have.
  10. Whereabouts are you based? I'd be inclined to get a second opinion from one of the garages (preferably) as used by members on this forum, I'm in agreement with Will about how much they'd 'like' to charge.
  11. The last S14 I had was painted in Midnight Blue, I've got to admit it looks far better on a Zed. I like the Pikes Peak White one you have as well. What a pair.
  12. As Zeus said, it may be worth checking your lenses out to see if they've gone foggy or yellowed. My Zed (on a 54 plate) had really foggy lenses so I rubbed them down with wet n dry, graduating to 2500grit and then coated the lenses with UV Protectant marine clear polyurethane. It made such a difference, I can see now. Or you could try polishing the lenses with Megs metal polish, that also works but again you'd have to apply something for UV protection.
  13. I agree with Longsh07, I like the look of it from the outside and the cabin looks great but it looks a bit Peter Stringfellow with the bar's in the cabin and the boot, and what the F is with the fake wood floor of the boot?
  14. Ian, its the rear drop links for sure, I saw a you tube clip the other day of a Zed that as soon as it moved backwards or forwards was squeaking & creaking like crazy. He replaced the drop links and it was as quiet as a church mouse. I'll see if I can dig out a link for you.
  15. . You've a tidy looking Zed there, have you thought of doing a bumper tuck just to show off that exhaust a little bit more?
  16. I get 18mpg plodding around town and 33mpg on a good motorway run, I too use Shell V-Power in my UKGT Zed.
  17. I did it with the wheel on, I didn't time myself and its the first time I've done it but it was a doddle and couldn't have taken more than 10 or 15 minutes.
  18. Not that I'm a fan of huge wheels but those 17"s look dinky in the wheel well. I hope you enjoy your holiday and no doubt your Zed upon your return.
  19. If you check out the classified's on the Pistonheads site there is an Azure Blue that has had this put on his lights and the photos are not bad so it'll give you an idea. I can't remember what page it's on though but I think he mentions it in the 'details'. There aren't that many Azure blue Z's up for sale so it'll be an easy find (unless the car has been sold in the last couple of days).
  20. I'm not sure if anyone read the Daily Telegraph back in March but if you did you would have seen an article about the cost of changing the bulbs in the headlight of the 350Z, £295, yep that's right £295. This article came from Which Magazine who did a survey on the cost of general maintenance on cars. Their way of replacing bulbs consisted of basically stripping down the front of the car by removing the bumper etc. My sidelight bulb failed the other day and it took me all of 15 minutes to replace it and I didn't have to take the front bumper off as recommended by the guys at Which. All I did was remove two screws holding the inner arch in place and pulled it to one side. I reached in, turned the bulb body half a turn and then removed it. The bulb is a push fit so it was a doddle to remove and replace. To put it all back together again is the reverse of taking it to bits. All it cost was a replacement bulb and fifteen minutes of my time, saving me a total cost of £293.
  21. I have rather large hands and just undid one screw, pulled back the wheel arch liner and then pulled the bulb out & replaced it with another. I didn't even take the wheel off. Simples.
  22. Whereabouts are you based? And what do hubcentric 20mm spacers cost? Also what is P+P if I live too far away from you? Best regards, SAM
  23. I'll take these off you Hooch for £25 P+P. PM to follow
  24. Would you accept £25 for these if I were to pay P+P?
