  1. Welcome to the forum and I'm sure you'll find ownership more fulfilling than that of Honda.
  2. Hi and welcome to he 350Z forum. I too graduated from ownership of 2 x S14 SR 20 DET's. I must admit I'm finding my 350Z more enjoyable than my 2 S14's put together. I hope you enjoy ownership as fulfilling.
  3. Welcome aboard the 350Z forum, I hope you find it useful.
  4. What I forgot to ask in my previous, in my previous post is; do you have a photo of the rear of the car with the kit on?
  5. Wow, I'm loving this it looks really tidy. good job OP.
  6. Hell, welcome and I hope you enjoy your time with your Zed.
  7. The matte black one was advertised on Piston heads a couple of weeks ago and I agree with Wasso, the power is a work of fiction, it doesn't have a full Nismo bodykit and I've never seen a Zed with electric rear windows!!! You'll really enjoy the torque of the zed after your 7. Not sure if you're aware that there is a rarity value with the GT4's as only 176 were sold in this country (they all have numbered plaques), hence the extra £2k on the price. Good luck with your search.
  8. Looks like a good job really well done. Can you tell me where you got that tiny little aerial from? Does it work OK?
  9. As Peteman says its to stop tyrefitters from fitting the wheels the wrong way round as the rears are a half inch wider than the fronts on the GT.
  10. . About the right time to go for a Zed, now the mornings are getting colder, I got rid of my H***a as I was sick to death of diesel on the roads along with a lot of myopic car drivers. As Dblock says, the imports are usually cheaper and don't have such a high spec and if you intended to (against everyone's advice on this site) take to a main dealer for work or a service they'd show you the door. Check out a UK car as well as a JDM and you'll really notice the difference. No disrespect to import owners, just pointing out some differences.
  11. . I'd also be inclined to take the money and run. Why not buy a car from a forum member or from another Z site, at least you know that the car will have been well looked after. I don't know anyone who uses these sites and then sets out to thrash/smash a car to within an inch of its life. You'll also have a really good idea of the cars history as owners tend to either buy newer or go for another model.
  12. Have you checked the connections of the rear screen motor as these can get pretty corroded and a clean up with a small wire brush (or stiff toothbrush) and a spray with WD40 might get you going again. This worked on my S14. I'll have a look in the workshop manual to see if it says what fuse belongs to what electrical part. If I have some joy I'll pm you.
  13. Hahaha did your mate have a Zed too then lol!!?...whats his number!!!!!!? No he's running a Nissan S13 and painted himself with it before he went to Jamaica, just to make sure he didn't burn in the sun and sea.
