Thanks again for the welcome messages, I finally got round to having a stereo fitted to replace the original. It's a Pioneer xvh 3500. It fits and works well, sits nice and flush in the fascia. My only issue now is that it seems the rear speakers have degraded due to a lack of use so they'll need replacing. Any suggestions on size/make welcome, does the whole of the boot area trim need to be removed to get at them ? Regards Jason.

Thanks for all the replies, regarding the new stereo, I think I just want something that fits nicely into the space and works. It's nice to listen to the exhaust I know but a bit of music now and again without it jumping would also be good. The hunt is on, I'll keep you all posted. Regards Jason.

Hello All, just thought I'd say hello from sunny South Wales, bought my car about 4 months ago now, completely standard apart from the air filter and currently knackered stereo. Just doing a bit of searching to see what I can replace it with, any suggestions welcomed. Jason.
