  1. Welcome to the forum, there is more than enough bedtime reading on this site to educate yourself in all things Zed which will give you a better idea as to what you can expect to buy for your budget. Happy hunting.
  2. Hey Will, welcome to the forum and happy hunting. You should find something very tidy with the budget you have.
  3. Wanted, a working oem sub woofer amp that is bolted next to the sub woofer behind drivers seat. Requested again due to timewaster.
  4. Interested in the back box, can you pm me if its still available as i'll be in your part of the country on the last saturday of this month. Thanks, SAM
  5. I posted about replacing the brushes in the window motors a while back. I included part numbers for Maplin and also another company. The brushes are easy to replace and my motor is still running fine two & half years later. Cost of brushes = £7 cost of new motor = 25 year mortgage.
  6. We got my girlfriends Apollo Contour in the boot of my Zed 2 weeks ago. The first time we tried it we struggled & had trouble making sure we didn't put the rear screen through, we've got it down to a fine art now, so it can be done. All depends on the size and make of the bike.
  7. Tha last S14 that i owned had a leakage problem that i never got to the bottom of so i got a couple of 150mm square thick cotton bags and filled them up with Silica Gell crystals (from local hardware store, a 2kg container for peanuts)) leaving one in the front footwell and the other in the rear footwell and it stopped the condensation problem a treat and i just used to change the gell when it stopped absorbing moisture. I've still got the container with a fair bit in it somewhere in the garage.
  8. A couple of years ago my lenses had gone milky and horrible so i used 2500g wet n dry and then coated the nice clean lenses with clear marine lacquer which has fantastic UV protection. All in i think i paid a little over a fiver and they still look as good as new.
  9. Wow, Amy, thats a a Zed that i've never seen the likes of before. Beautifully done, not OTT
  10. I totally agree with Monkeybrain. I bought a roll of Hexis and the B pillars were my first "project" they're a doddle to do and fool a lot of people into thinking the're real CF. Give it a go & you'll find yourself wondering just what else you could wrap. Regards, SAM
  11. I'm just after the little sub amp that screws via two bolts next to the speaker. Thats all. Regards, SAM
  12. Hey Veilside, i was going to buy one from Buster (Zed Shed) but i was away for a few weeks & on my return found that he'd sold it. He was asking £10 & i pay p&p (pm him to confirm the offer if you wish)so what you're asking is a touch more than i wish to pay. Thanks for your offer though, if you wish to match Busters price i'll go for it.Thanks. SAM
  13. Hey Jay, buster from the Zed shed had one in working order he was going to sell me for £10. You"re welcome to pm about this for proof. I went away and forgot about it until a couple of weeks ago by which time he'd sold it. Match the price, I'll pay p&p & we have deal.Thanks. SAM
  14. Does anyone have a working sub woofer amp for the 350z they want to sell?
  15. Hey Simon, keep us updated with how the shoot went & which of the two (i'm presuming) specialist Japanese car magazines its being featured in. SAM.
  16. "Love it a little bit more?" Simon if i were kinky that way i'd be leaving my Azure Blue Zed at home and having an extra marital affair with your Zed, its one of the most tastefully modded Zeds i've seen on both sides of the Atlantic. SAM
  17. Oopps it been a long night and i realise i've filled This post in the wrong way round, my bad. Regards, SAM.
  18. Hey Simon, i absolutely love what you've done to your Zed, you've included some beautiful touches like the copper badges. Its a shame you didn't include any interior pics as i noticed you'd included a picture in the for sale section of your gear knob and it was then that i spotted your recovered seat and sm curious as to how the rest of the interior looks. Its a rare thing that a modded Zed tocks all of the (my) boxes, but i think the work you"ve done is top drawer and tasteful. Thanks for making me green with envy.
