  1. Yeah, simple slippage, one of my 200SX's used to howl like a banshee especially on cool/cold damp mornings. As pretty much everyone has said, just tighten them a little but also take a few minutes to check what sort of condition they're in, more so if you don't know when they were last replaced.
  2. Get a reader and find out what code is causing it to go into limp mode. That should give you the answer and you can then act accordingly t fix it and prevent it from reoccurring.
  3. If you don't mind doing a bit of DIY then you could fit new brushes which when worn cause the failures. You could also clean out the motor, but this is usually only a short term fix.
  4. Welcome back and congrats on buying what sounds like a really tidy Zed. Looking forward to seeing some photos.
  5. Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forum and as GMBallistic says for the cubby.
  6. Deer oh Deer (sorry, bu I just had to), you've not been having much luck recently have you Jonty. Just glad to hear that you and your passenger are OK.
  7. Congratulations on the purchase of your Zed and welcome to the forum. If you can manage to stay out of the drivers seat for long enough you'll find a cornucopia (yes I had a fried dictionary for breakfast this morning, sunny side up) of information on this forum. Happy reading and even happier driving.
  8. Today has been a busy Zed day as I've fitted a Y pipe back exhaust, 3 new wiper blades and a pair of front tyres. If the weather looks good tomorrow then its a damn good wash, clay bar, polish and a wax and sunday will be a day of rest or more than likely me and a mate will go for a bit of a tear up on some very quiet twisty's we know.
  9. You could do the pedal dance and video the flashes with your smart phone. The flashes will tell what fault code you have and you can then cancel it' or do as Ekona says and unplug the battery overnight and that will clear it also.
  10. I'd be inclined to follow the advice that Keyser has proffered as looking back through his posts he has more knowledge than a lot of us. I hope it is just an airlock and not a knackered head gasket. Good Luck with it.
  11. Have you done a search at all ? This might give you the answer you're looking for.
  12. If you have the HR you'll have two intake pipes to the plenum. The DE only has a single intake to the plenum.
  13. Why not go with Rich@Horshams suggestion and go for a decent set of carbon covers?
