  1. I agree with mouthwash as most members on this forum seem to keep receipts of every penny spent on their Zeds even to the point of petrol receipts just to show that the fuel that was put in the car was V-Power or equivalent and this info could quite easily cover the fact that the dealer "lost" the service book but you have looked after the car. I have the service book but also a folder of receipts going back to the original delivery note when the ca was delivered to the Dealer when the car was new.
  2. I'm with Docwra, "I'm phoning about the car you've advertised for sale" " Which car is that then"? "thanks, bye" A trader, no doubt. Yes you could end up getting a nice car at a fairly good price but if someone is not telling the truth from the word go, alarm bells would start ringing for me and I'd walk away and keep on looking.
  3. WOW, what a beautiful job, just wondering how long you now spend staring at it in the daylight? It looks like a totally different car.
  4. Thanks for the info as I've been thinking of changing the red decals on the standard Brembo's for something a little brighter and have been wondering as to whether to apply lacquer just to give a little extra protection. Will be in touch soon to see just what you offer.
  5. I agree with quite a few on tis forum, i refuse to use F**kbook due to their dubious use of members personal info. I'd love more information as to cost, what makes this a better wax etc, the beading photo looks great is there any way of finding out more info via a different source?
  6. Hey Bri, welcome to the forum and congratulations on buying your 350Z, not only that but a Zed from a forum member so no doubt it will have been well looked after, I hope it gives you many miles of happy motoring.
  7. Welcome to the forum. As per the post from DoogyRev, does it have de-cats or test pipes or anything else that ia liable to alter your emissions?
  8. Congrats on your purchase Steve, I hope she lives up to your expectations.
  9. Hey Caymen, welcome to the forum and all the best with the hunt for your ideal Zed. You can't go wrong by reading through the info on this site as its both thorough and informative, plus its a good time of the year to be buying. If you have an idea as to colour, coupe or roadster etc then we, as a collective can help by keeping our eyes and ears to the ground for you. Happy hunting.
  10. "Limited lifetime warranty on all parts". Surely its either a lifetime warranty or a limited warranty, i don't see how it can be both!!! Something smells about this advert, the type of smell given off by an overheating engine.
  11. As Desy says service history isn't everything although personally i wouldn't touch anything without a bulging wallet full of receipts showing that the car had been looked after during its lifetime. There are some real sheds around now as prices have come down so just be careful and if you're not a competent mechanic then take someone with you who is even if you have to bung them a few quid, that few quid could end up saving you hundreds if not more down the line. There's more to the car than shiny paintwork. Good luck. Oh and with your points situation i wouldn't be looking at something that has loads of mods.
  12. I just love the comment on the advert "limited lifetime warranty"
  13. I agree with 350Zedd, i wouldn't have brand stickers on my car (the exception being the 350z-uk.com in my rear quarter, but that is a club/forum sticker) If i were to have something it would be something I'd design myself and have made up. Some of the stickers I've seen are so juvenile as to be embarrassing, especially the "pantydropper" stickers I've seen on fleabay, maybe I'm showing my age but i wouldn't have that on my toolbox.
  14. Welcome to the forum. I had a couple of 200SX S14's, the first was stock and the second had a lot of work done to it and to be honest i don't really miss the turbo's, the torque makes up for it, but hey thats just me, happy hunting.
  15. My '04 also has fully functioning steering wheel controls.
  16. Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase of your 370. Boy are you going to be in for a surprise when you get to sit in the drivers seat and open the throttle. Happy motoring and let us know how long you keep smiling for after your first drive.
  17. Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase of your Zed.
  18. Welcome to the forum Nige and congrats on the purchase of your Zed. These new tax laws are going to a right PITA for buyers of private vehicles.
  19. Could do with some decent side on photo's as i don't think you're doing yourself any favours with what you've put up so far. Got more idea what your R34 looks like than the wheels
  20. Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase of your Zed. Your Clio will be but a distant memory once you've done a few more miles with the beautiful V6 soundtrack.
  21. Welcome to the forum and congrats on your forecourt of Zeds,
