    Which pads

Pads seem to be a preference between drivers, I rate the DS2500, some don't. It's all about how you drive and where and when you want performance. Have you uprated your fluid or lines yet ??
  2. Yours was the first I saw and thought - YES. :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

    Coilovers

THIS. Then if you want to push the envolope further and decrease times etc, maybe get the coilovers you mentioned in the OP. I'd even consider just getting springs first. Those with some ARB's, fluid lines and pads will make you a lot quicker all over the place. Then once you've got used to that start thining about dropping £2000 on coilovers.
  4. These wheels look awesome. Good work sir. I'd love to see a set on a 370Z.
  5. No mate, it would be cool, I would have, I just got tired of coilovers and an old car (mine was a '99 import) I wanted something more refined and fresher that I could still track and **** about in, so I spent my money on a 370Z. The car is very well balanced from the off and being RWD it will cope with the extra 200hp+ much better than say a FWD car. Also, the chassis on the S2000 is great, so again, it can handle the hike well, no point in bracing these things either, solid as, although I think under bracing is the only way to improve it as opposed to top mount, they just don't do anything to it. These are proper cheap now, when/if you buy, try and get a GT version with the hardtop and make sure the geo bushes have been greased recently as its very common for them to seize and can be costly to sort out. Let me know if you need any info come buy, I'll be able to help out man. Now, on a similar but different route, my mate just imported a sweet as a nut OEM S15 (Silvia) now that's a crazy boost car. Old school turbo RWD drift machine, stunning, crazy car .
  6. If you like 370Z's the Nismo is the collectors edition. It is expensive, but then it was always going to be, just look at any other limited edition run car, the Mugen Civic is about the same as the Nismo, even a bit more I think. Honda sold them all before they even made the official listing. Forget building an OEM 370Z to a Nismo level, it will never be as finished as a factory finished model and even if your tally up the catalogue prices I'm sure it won't be as cheap as you think and a lot, lot more stress to get it there. It's easy to get personal about things but for what it's worth I think the Nismo 370Z is a great piece of Nissan Motorsport history and looks fantastic. I'd personally find it hard to part with the cash needed to get one, but that doesn't affect my desire or respect for it. Other than my 370Z I've seen three other 370Z's on the road in two years, Nismo's not a single one, that puts it in super rare territory for me. In a perfect world, I'd say drive it for a few years, then clean it and store it for 10 years. Going back to the mentioned BMW 135i, these are great my mate has one and both his and my car are almost un separable in terms of paper performance and IRL performance, the only place where there is a noticeable difference is that the 370Z has lost more mechanical grip and the BMW has 4 seats. Besides he a better driver than me and he has a outstanding double clutch paddle shift our recent times over a sprint, in field and timed circuit were all with a second of each other. Basically, one is Heinz Ketchup the other is HP Sauce.

    XKR.... Lovely

Not keen on these XKR marks, as said, I don't think they look modern at all - that said, I do respect them. The newer Jags that are coming out though are seriously good looking cars. Perhaps they employed some younger designers for the XKR they released in 2007 because ever since that they've looked great.
  8. I started doing this once, lasted about 6.37 minutes then realised it's a proper mission to do and that I wasn't that committed.

    Awesome

    CE28N's please.
  10. Loads mate, the cost per pony seems to push a lot of people that way, they charge them too which works well. Something I looked at. Yeah, lol. The thing with the S2000 is that Honda over engineered the F20 engine soooo much it's very hard to eek any extra NA horses from it unless you have super deep pockets. It really was developed to bring the best out of the whole package, despite being heavy the OEM exhaust system is pretty good. I was running a full Mugen exhaust system, K&N forced air system and AEM EMS on a JDM(more power than UKDM) car. Once mapped that gave me about 20hp more than the standard car I pushed in, so that's nearly £4000 for 20 hp, lol. For the same outlay I could have had a boosted S2000 and well, where do you want to go from there really . For me the S2000 is a NA motor, much like my 370Z, if I wanted boost, I'd go boost. I love the raw NA sound you get from Honda engines, all the way to the red line, roof down, sun out, B road blasting with that Mugen system singing was epic. This is me (for the sound) going over the start/finish at Spa one year..
  11. He came off lightly there in my opinion, lol. :teeth:
  12. Mine was NA but tuned and ran sold power to 9800rpm, VTEC at 2800rpm, just needed better springs, but then that's race tune spec valve train. They run these super high boost in the States, build them to hit 700whp, then retire them FFS. My mates cars were daily's and track cars, lol.
  13. When we had our S2000's two of my mates had MASE mapped turbo S2000's. Due to the fantastic forged OEM internals in the F20 it's not too much trouble to do this and run big boost. 540whp and boost by gear made these the quickest things I have ever been in, not the fastest (M6 wins this) but the quickest wiz bang acceleration I have ever witnessed. Still love S2000's.
  14. I think the actual badge is cool, however, I'd leave the Nismo 370Z totally stock from the Nissan factory, it being what it is an all, it doesn't need anything else.
  15. Just heard back from Milltek, reading between the lines, this pretty much a negative I feel .
  16. I've contacted Milltek directly with the question and I'm awaiting a response . I have however clocked this on the website which is rather discouraging ....... Purchasing Q. Can I buy parts individually (e.g. can I buy just the cat, or just the downpipes or backbox)? A. Hi-Flow cats are available as stand-alone purchases, otherwise units are sold as either cat back or rear box only, because Milltek are genuine performance systems you can't mix and match.

    My Z32 SWB

Cool man, good update. Hidden mod surprises are sometimes cool. When I took hold of my JDM S2000 I popped open the ECU panel to fit my new AEM EMS and found this........
  18. OK mate, thanks. I'll do some digging and if I can get them to fit I'll take them .
  19. I love a placebo. I always aim for Shell if I can.
  20. I'm interested in these. I have a OEM full system at the moment, what sort of effect will these have on the sound ?? I want more sound, but to retain the OEM system for the moment as I'm unsure on what system to go for. I've looked at HFC's but these could be an option also. Cheers
  21. eBay's a fcuking joke nowadays. Total waste of time just full of fake crap and scams. It used to be handy, like in 2001.
  22. That's really smart man, it's something I'm very keen on doing. If you manage to sort out your pics, get a full length side profile one up. I'm convinced that these wings add a better balance to the overall profile and presence of the car.
