  1. I enjoyed my S2000 interior too, although compared to my 370Z (my S2000 being a '99) my Nissan has the edge with all the toys and fresh tech.
  2. I had GENUINE Mugen caps on my S2000. I gave them 7 days. Lasted three years then sold them with the car.
  3. This isn't my mates car (I did look for one), its a library photo. This is the interior of a Porsche Boxster S Spyder, the car he owns and I've been in. It's a million times better than any 350Z I've sat in. At which bits do you look at and think you'd rather look at the 350 ??
  4. **Edit - Mistake, just saw it's OPL on the link, ignore.
  5. The international circuit is great fun, it's a slower paced circuit but it great for learning how you car handles, it's also very heavy on the brakes, you'll all come away wanting uprated fluid and lines at least !!! I'd have been well up for this but I'm at an airfield day on the Friday the 16th at North Weild, so my monthly car blat is taken . If this is a regular event though, I'll keep my eyes open for the next one. **Luuurrrvvvvvv Castle Combe, nice and fast !!!! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:
  6. NA - Naturaly Aspirated FI - Forced Induction (Turbo'd & Charge'd)
  7. My S2000 that was imported from Japan had the 112mph limiter removed. I believe it's as simple as sniping a wire, however, I'm not sure. On the CRX imports there were no limiter just an annoying bell/alarm. Most reputable importers will ask you if you'd like the limiter removed as part if their UK prep work. My experience is with Honda's however, so Nissan may differ in areas.
  8. If yours is an import mate and it's been registered over here with an importer it will have been converted, MPH, rear fig light, etc... Normally when importing they disable the speed restricter. Give the importers a call and check with them, they'll be happy to help they normally are.
  9. My mates Boxster S Spyder is quality inside. Minimalistic at first glance, but everything's tight and the finish top draw. The seats are great. Don't take photographs as a true reflection, travelling in them is a much better way to get a more accurate opinion.
  10. My God Anglesey, always wanted to have a blat around there. Jealous much.
  11. The spacers I speak of are Eibach Spacers, they're good. You'd have to get your geo done again though.
  12. £120 for 20MM spacers is a bit of a no brainer IMO, if you're interested in them that is. Due to the fact that you fit them and if you dont like them you can just take them off with no side effects what so ever. They also command a decent used price too, so at the very worst, all you stand to loose is about £40 and a few hours work if that.
  13. Cool man, interesting seemingly honest write up too. The wider track makes it look much meaner, the lower ride looks great too, pretty much a given but still good to see it come out as planned. I'm tempted by springs, very much so, but I so want to be happy with the OEM set up which was always the plan - so far, so good. Any ideas what sort of geo you are going to go for ?? Also, get a good side on shot of the car . :teeth: :teeth:
  14. As it stands I like the way the car is damped and handles, however, it could be stiffer, could always be stiffer . Besides the obvious visual improvement springs give, I think I'll leave it OEM for now, spacers however are on the list. Looking forward to seeing yours with new springs and spacers .

    Clutch

That's right, I'm at the point where I don't really notice it, as I'm used to it. Jump into a Honda again however and I will MAD.
  16. Will - Once you're done and happy to send them on, I'll take them if that's cool. Obviously once I'm done I will pass them on again . :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:
  17. Interesting man, nice one. I was looking at these as I have coem from Honda, who produce some fantastic, close, tight box's (oo-er) I was a bit left down by the 370Z one. Reading reviews on the US site I was out off by teh reports of noise and vibrations, like what you mention in your OP, but on teh OEM shifter. Has the vibration gone/reduced now ?? Also speaking to one of my track fiend mates he gave me his opinion on short shifters saying that compnays spend thousands on trying to match the throw of teh gear stick to the travel of the clutch pedal so that it feels as natural as possible. Then people go and ruin it by adjusting the gear throw but not the clucth pedal. He's a bit of a track racer and it sort of made sense when I thought about it but wonderd how much of that was just preference, have you noticed anything annoying about that ??
  18. Guys if you like that Singer there's an excellent Chris Harris on cars vid where he goes to the factory/garage in Cali and talks to the team that build/designs/picks the car. Culminates in him driving it on the road and track, very well done and a great video. Well worth a watch if you like the Singer or not. :teeth:
  19. A year after I sold my S2000, the lad that bought it still has the Nurburgring and Spa lap stickers on the boot. It's up to him if he thinks it's cool to pretend he's lapped those circuits, me; if I hadn't been there and lapped it I'd peel them off.
  20. Two ways sell a car. If you want it to sell - Price it sell. If you want to sell it - Price it at what it's worth. Nothing wrong with it being the cheapest car, just means more people will view the advert.

Over in the US they stick LS's in S2000's, not that weird !! Regards fuel costs, I have UK friends that live in Oz that were over not long ago and we were talking about differences. I raised the point of cheap fuel and they sadly said that that has seen the biggest inflation of late, to the point that it's pretty much the same as here .
