  1. I'm staying well out of any of this.
  2. I’ve helped organised 3 JAE trips with the other Moderators in the past for Type-R-Owners, our best was probably 2011 when we had 60 members camping for the full duration !! We even ran a the F1 qualifying on a big screen and invited other clubs to come watch. It really is a great atmosphere, with loads to do, loads of great cars and a very good vibe. Market stalls selling all sorts, noodle bars and even events to take part in if you can drag you drunken carcass from the tents to take part in. I’ll probably pop up in my 370Z, hang about with the lads on the TRO stand and come over and say hi, won’t be staying or camping though – well I’m not sure on that yet. Good luck with the stand and if you need any help with anything Amy let me know as I still have a lot of contact numbers from the suppliers in the area, for audio equipment, generators, wood for fires, BBQ’s the lot and it might help you out.
  3. Going from what you say you fancy, steer clear of coilies then, unless you get a super expensive set and spend a lot getting them right !! My last car had a set of Bilistiens which were good, but got on nerves after a while, even though the damping was perfect. Smashing on track mind you. If you just want a firmer more planted ride have you thought about some thicker ARB's and a new Geo setting ?? Bushes might give you too much vibration, or make too hard, where doing the above should just firm things up and give the car a better footprint with the geo.
  4. Yes, that's the sucker, Nissan Option 1 .
  5. To irritate you. Seeing as though my parking outside of the lines on this occasion has caused such a stir, I've thought long and hard about that day and the circumstances around it. IIRC, this may have been the day after I'd just bought the car, the night before. Again, looking in the paintwork reflections, the car park does appear to be empty, however I can't confirm that I went into, nor can I say that the store was even open. I think I just popped in to get a quick snap to send to the lads or for a pee in the bush. If idiocy dictates that I want to protect my new found purchase, while not to the detriment of anyone else, then yes, I'm an idiot I suppose. Lemmings was awesome. OP - Sorry about this dude, looks like it escalated a bit quickly.
  6. I suppose my first Internets lesson is free then, whats the recurring cost ?? Tell me cousin, why Lemmings ?
  7. Popular concern man, I know a lot of people that are militant about this sort of thing. They insist on being there when the tyres are removed, which I suppose induces more care taken by 'John' the tyre guy, who's 15.
  8. No, no, I did genuinely think that it went nowhere and was uninteresting . Your new one however, about rats and disabled people is much better, don't let me stop you, please.
  9. Cool story bro. You should have seen the way I drifted into it, drunk and without my seatbelt on.
  10. Indeed. What invites trouble ?? I do, the picture is me, parked up, at the very back of Tesco so that no one dings my car. I don't see what you're failing to understand here, in a thread about car parks and parking dings. If you really think I go around chopping people in the throat, then, lol, it was just an expression of rage for these sort of things.
  11. So the UpRev is just a re-flash of the OEM ECU, the EcuTek is a fully adjustable ECU I take it ?? Like an AEM ?? I can see the benefit of data logging and other race optimised settings but I don't think I'd ever use the addition features of a fully customisable ECU. Once I had my AEM on my S2000 mapped I never touched it again. I also had my Civic Type R mapped, but went for the fixed ECU option (K100) as opposed to the customisable KPro, I never had regrets. Unless there are other features of the EcuTek that would be an advantage ??
  12. Yeah, you know. With the thinking that if they park next to a nice car their car will be safer, lol. Mrs goes nuts as it always about a 1/2 mile walk to the Tesco's door.
  13. Gents - I'm out. I don't have a Connect Premium like you class toppers, I have the older version, lol. :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:
  14. Well I'm glad that cleared that up. Turns out I've been cheating at Top Trumps for a while then.
  15. Hmmm, yeah, you might be right, I may be confused. I have the Bose 6 CD player with the 'non touch screen' Sat Nav. I thought there was another option with the uprated touch screen SN, called the Premium Connect 2.
  16. Yeah. So that I don't end up in prison after irresponsible drivers drive into my car and drive off, like the OP. Why, does that bother you ??
  17. The engine is probably putting out the same 100hp (ish) they always have done but the weight of the car is now 1200kg's as opposed to the older 950-1000kg's, so feels trollop. But yeah, I feel your pain.
  18. Good stuff man, I've been looking and wondering about different spoiler options for the 370; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/72810-370z-spoiler-options/ Now get some pics up !!!!! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:
  19. Yep, Vibrant Red and Le Man's Blue tend to be the rarest of the colours, thus tend to command a higher price, took me a while to find mine. LMB was my first choice, so glad I hung it out and was stubborn about it. Agreed, photo's do no justice and the first thing people tend to say when they see my car is that the colour is amazing.
  20. End them with a swift chop to the throat. Its the only way. I ONLY park like this.
  21. All sigs are crap, regardless of whats in them. Split exhaust systems are crap. Amuse stuff is awesome. :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:
  22. Yeah, it was that sort of soft leather stuff - EVERYWHERE !! The week I sold it, it was 13 years old, lol.
