PS31SP31Silvia - You will get used to that new gearbox, it takes a while, I find changing up a bit higher on the range gives a less 'clunky' feel. I've been told its fine, it's just my driving style that has to change, lol.
  2. Good looking knob. The OEM one is a bit naff IMO. I'll be getting the Nismo one I think.
  3. Agreed. If someone has used these and can forward a set on to me I will gladly return the favor and forward on. PM me if anyone can start this Update-Chain-Letter thing.
  4. That SLS Black is the best looking car I have seen since the 458. The rest of the show is about as funny and interesting as Mrs Browns Boys.

Alright, good to know. Not that it's a good thing, but I feel slightly better knowing that.
  6. No. It's a giraffe sized flying Dinosaur. :teeth:
  7. Didn't they just add stiffer bushes or something ??
  8. In House tunning company's parts are normally just modified OEM parts anyway, made that bit better, but offer the same gurantee. Basically, approved mods by the car maker. Proper performance R&D parts are made by the tunning houses offer the best power - if that's your bag. As for sticking stickers on things they are not;

Just to re-bump this, but does anyone get a slight clutch rattle when at idle ?? Something I've noticed more so perhaps when cold. I'm due at Motorline in Sepetmeber so I'll mention it there, but does anyone have anything similar ??
  10. I reacon that is comprised of cider (puddle off) and the picked to death carcass of a badger.

Mate of mine is looking at VXR8's. he got his insiurance quote back last night of £314. He was well chuffed.
  12. Eerrrr, yeah, that sounds amazing cs2000. If anyone has or would liek to pass these on, much obliged :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: .
  13. Mugello's are good looking wheels.

My uncle sold his a few months back, he got a lot less than he wanted/market value suggested. It appears to be a buyers market even more so. V8 FTMFW
  17. Well, it's severn currently, lol, I expect that to increase, it's the 16th of August, but it's a max number of 25 split over two circuits so it will be cool as. Thanks for the heads up on the pads, I'm not ruling out the OEM pads after some lines and fluid, but deep down, I know I'll want some more durable stuff. It does slide, but obviously not to the level I'm hoping to achieve on the airfield. Not sure I'll be doing 50ft drifts though, lol. I'll stick the GoPro on it and try and get some footage. Cool vid man. Yes, the first thing everyone says when they see the car is; 'Wow, love the colour, it looks much better in real life'. And I have to agree.
  18. Little update, as it's hard to stay out of the pub when the weather is like this, but me and my mate have booked an airfield day at North Wield. You get to do stuff you obviously can't do on public roads and less obviously stuff that you can't do on track, drifting, spinning out, etc... Really good opportunity to switch off the aids and see how the car really behaves at speed and load. It's just a couple of high speed straights and bends a really fun safe way of feeling out your car. Only £49 too. Plus I'll get a chance to finish off these nasty REO50's. My mate is in the 135i
  19. Cool pics man, did you say you were going to get some spacers ?? Regards the Gruppe 'M costs, yeah, silly, however at this point I'm not really worried about power gains, as power gain hunting on NA is a bit of a mugs game anyway, not that I'm not going to do or think about doing that, but it's something I'm not too concerned about. I just fancied something that will sound epic and not many other people would have :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: .
  20. Lol, that's some stopping power there !!! In the past I've just done DS2500's, fluid and lines and been happy with that, that was on my S2000 though and was enough to last on track and give confidence to push on. Stop quicker - Go faster. Yeah, Andy from JM Imports is sorting it . Intake wise I wanted some Gruppe 'M filters, but no one, or rather people struggle to get any info on them, or if they can its nearly 4 figures to get them too me. Due to that, it's likely to be Stillen Gen 3's for me.
  21. Good post man, I enjoyed reading that. Great Silvia's man, very cool cars. My mate is literally waiting for his to come off the boat, a fresh JDM import OEM S15, looks great. I've only recently got my 370Z, two months maybe, I took mine to Germany a few weeks after getting it and bonded with it there after having a tracked S2000, it took some getting used to. Like you said, fast chnages like I was used to in the S2000 don't work well, but due to the flat torque and general pull throughout the rev range, short shifts or less frantic changes work just as well as fast changes, it just takes some getting used too. Exhaust - lol. I've been looking at the ARK, Fast Intentions and HKS. I too was surprised will the weight behind the wheel, the chassis, wheels and engine really make the car feel lighter than it actually is. I'm still not too happy with the OEM brakes, I tend to get fade quicker than I'd like, but I expect that to go away with GTR lines and some Motol fluid. My only other concern at the moment, is the oil temp, general driving and hard driving I see 110 easy, track driving, do not want OEM. I'm getting an oil cooler fitted to make track days more worth while without going into limp mode every 6 laps as the oil is 130. Even with these little personal points I'd change, I'm still very very happy with the car :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: .
  22. The information is only as good as the morons that press the buttons unfortunately.
  23. M370 is an intake manifold made by Motordyne. Generally gives a fair chunk of mid range torque and a steady increase in BHP over the rev range, not sure what it's like on a OEM map mind you.
