Grand Theft Auto V & Online game - Spoiler ALERT !!!!
Suits replied to mattross1313's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Kimbo Slice is/was a mean UFC fighter, who was built like a train and had a boss beard. -
Depends how old you are I suppose. 10 years ago I'd have never though something like an iPhone would exist and be so abundant.

Grand Theft Auto V & Online game - Spoiler ALERT !!!!

Seeing as though he's built like him, I was going for the Kimbo Slice look. -
Electric cars will be the saviour of the combustion engine. If we replaced half of the current combustion engined cars on the road with electric cars it would go a long way to improving the state of oil based fuels. 20 years down the line if 75% of cars on the road are electric, then that bodes even better for combustion engines and the fuels that fire them. Jay Leno describes a future where we all drive our electric cars to work and around and about, then on weekends we break out our combustion engines and go for a blast ro to a track day to enjoy that side of motoring. I believe him. It's all about image. If car company's appear to embrace the world and face up to global warming it makes Mrs Jones buy a car from Honda as it's green and cuddles the world and makes her look nice. The best way to shout about your electric wonders and improvements as a company, is to stick it in a desirable car. Electric hybrid cars are not terrible. The new Honda NSX with its dual electric motors and F1 - 2014 derived V6 goes very well indeed and sounds great - due out to the public 2015. The next GTR will have a similar set up I'm sure of it - basing that on nothing but my own assumptions and the way the business seems to be shifting. People threw fits when regulations changed and stated that all cars had to have million airbags and bonnets that went at a certain degree of angle. Designers and engineers moved in, accepted the changes and still managed to engineer out fantastic cars. Personally I love to see motor company's pushing the envelope and coming up with ideas and solutions to problems, it's their love for cars that ultimately drives this and because of that reason it's only ever going to evolve into something good.

I had a chip filled on my drive a while back and the guy doing it said that to swap the roof out on these is quite a job. He said that if I ever had to change mine he recomends that I leave the car with them at one of their stations as opposed to having it done on the drive as the controlled conditions and facilites at the station will give more of a better result, or, better chance of a better result I suppsoe. He went on to say that the roof lining has to come off and the screen release bolts are along the roof or something. I'll have to have mine swapped out soon I expect as at a track day the other week the chip split .

Grand Theft Auto V & Online game - Spoiler ALERT !!!!

It's good. It's very good. The character acting and motion is way above anything I've ever seen in a game. The step up in detail is massive too. You can tell that R* have been trolling us with those other games like Read Dead Redemption and Bully as these were clearly testers for what they were building up to with this engine, they just happened to be grade A games too. The combat is basically Read Dead, then it backs out and becomes GTA4 again, but much much better. As smooth and polished as you'll ever see. Same old GTA though. I've already done 3 missions where you got to get something, turns into a gunfight, then you have to chase someone down on a motorbike. -

New member needs to see 370Z locally
Suits replied to Brian_basildon's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
Hey man, I'm in Brentwood, just down the road. I have a Le Mans Blue 370Z. PM me, we can sort something out . -
Where can we read about Sparky's story ?? Ben Hatton who I met on a car forum (Type-R-Owners.co.uk) passed away in 2011 during a routine operation in hospital. He was a friend to many in the Honda community so much so we made a commemorative sticker for him and sold it to the users of the forum, we sold lots and donated the funds to charity (BHF). Honda UK even agreed to stick one on their touring car !!!

Great picture. The true image of a passion for cars.
-
That's a cool rear wing, who makes that ??
-
Yep, that's true, lol. There's loads of things that effect a RR read out. Loads. RR's are tuning tools that just give measurable figures when comparing pull results. You could put an OEM 370Z on one and set it up so that the readout says 400hp if you like.

Car looks great here .

Where and what conditions did you drive the GT86 in ??

Great looking car mate . -
Nice predicament to be man, that's some serious money and the choice of driver cars is yours. First thing first, as has been stated already, power isn't everything, unless you just like traffic light GP's. You will have more fun in a GT86 on track than you will in a 300hp A3. Well, I would anyway. If it was my money (your £25K), I'd be looking Porsche, however, other than that I'd be looking at lower cost bracket cars. My situation when I moved from my S2000 was that I needed something I could drive about in, then, when the mood took, just drive straight onto track and have a blast. I have a little Fiesta for daily driving so my 370Z just sits on the drive, giving me the ultimate feeling of, when I want it, it's there. I can't really recommend cars for you as there are a lot of prerequisite that will determine what car you want/need. I could start listing cars and they could be a million miles away from where you want to be. I take it you want RWD, do you want NA do you want boost ?? Once I split my decisions and arrived at a body type, transmission, aspiration there really wasn't much choice, so my subconscious top level decisions made my choice up for me. Also, which is absolutely key, is that you might be able to break the bank to get a high level car, but will you have the funds to sustain that car ?? I have a few mates that have gone M3 (E90) only to have to shift it on after a year because they're sick of buying tyres getting the oils serviced etc. You may be better off dropping your list price £5000 and picking something from that bracket ?? This was something I did and I think was a good decision. Fun times ahead fella.

Few more ft/lb somewhere in the range ?? I know the Morordyne has favorable reviews. -
I've never heard a bad word about Ohlins. Their aftercare is top notch too.

I had a 3/4 plate on my S2000 for about 5 years, not once pulled by it. It was actually installed by a MOT station after the original plate got cracked, damp and dirty. It failed and the MOT station fitted a 3/4 plate for me. when I questioned them about it they said that it's fine, thats the smallest plate you can have that is still legal. However, I'm led to believe that it's only allowed on cars registerd before 2006, or something very similar. After that theyadjusted the rules for short sighted Police.
