  1. Nice pics man, of what looks like an albino Nismo Z34 . Thanks for sharing .
  2. Johnny buys a 350Z for £6000. Wants some 'aftermarket' wheels. He can get some genuine qulaity wheels, like these, for £1500 without tyres. Or he can get, brand new, ready to throw on, Rota replicas for about £1200 (I don't know the exact price) in a style and colour he wants. Johnny probably not knowing what the hell JDM even means, will probably pick the Rota's. At a guess. So he can buy a K&N panel filter also with the spare cash. So because of this, seller can wait and hope that someone with some love and knowledge comes along and pays fair price for these or, the seller prices them closer to the Rota's to get rid and get the money in his pocket. I think that's a realistic senario. Personally. As it stands it looks like the seller is happy to sit on these and get what they are worth as he's in no rush. I did the same when I sold my Super Advan V2's. Took over a year to sell but when the correct customer came along, he saw them, paid an collected the same day for the amount I wanted.
  3. Hmmmmmm, I've been told by a number of suspension technicians from big dealers that spacers won't affect your geo at all. I struggle to see how that will be case to be honest but they insist.
  4. I think the suggestion of Rota's wasn't as a alternative to Volks, it was that because of Rota's these will either take longer to sell or force a lower price. Which was in line with the OP's question.
  5. Cool man, with that extra power they might actually be able to run wider wheels and still make it 'lively'. Anyway, it's always good to see big tuning houses' turning out packages .
  6. Not knowing any of you or what you look like, it's funny trying to match the user to the IRL person . These sort of trips are always a blast, glad you all enjoyed .

    Syron???????????

I don't mind putting £39 a corner NangKangs on the Fiesta for driving down to Tesco but when it comes to my 370Z I go for the best I can afford. I track my 370Z and there's nothing worse than having to cut a session short as it feels like your driving on grease or having to pay out for more tyres after 5000 miles. If your buying a performance car and intend to use it for performing what it was desgined to do, then you have to consider respectable tyres. Going for the very cheapest tyres you can buy for a performance car sounds a bit silly to me. But hey, God speed .
  8. You'd get that now too. From me anyway, lol.

    Syron???????????

At least I've heard of Nangkang's.
  10. Nope, I agree but like I said, I distinctly remember him saying he hoped it'd be quicker and seeing as though he was sat in the car and what he said seemed rather genuine, I took some truth in what he said. You clearly know your stuff then, so I still stand by my suggestion of I think you'll be left flat by the 370Z paddle system, even more so If you're comparing them to the F Types single clutch and all the other competitor products.
  11. Go talk to Nissan. I did when I was choosing my 370Z. They arranged for me to test drive the ones I wanted, I just turned up.
  12. Hmmmm, I'll take a look at some info and would certainly love to try one. I do seem to remember J Clarkson saying that the change wasn't as fast as he hoped though and that it could have been snappier. The BMW DCT gearbox is stupid responsive and quicker than I can comprehend.
  13. Great wheels here. The unhelpful fact is that they're worth whatever people will pay for them. I mean, you can look at how much you paid, how old they are and price them from that. Or you can look at how much it would cost to get a set here now and go from that. Ultimately if you put them up for £2000, then drop the price to £1500 and they sell, they're maybe not worth that but that’s what the market dictated. Also, when you can get a brand new set of Rota's with rubber for probably less that you would want for these, it's going to hard to get the non Volk appreciating public to part for what they are worth.
  14. Good news. I'm paranoid about having to have mine swapped out.
  15. My friend has a 135i with a double clutch paddle shift box. It can shift up and down quicker than you can say it. Unfortunately, because of this no single clutch auto box will ever do for me now.
  16. The 370Z needed a double clutch auto system for me to have gone for the auto over the manual on my 370Z. I'd have loved a good auto but if Nissan had dropped a big auto system in there I'd expect it to have been priced out of the market. The gearbox is probably my biggest complaint on these, after coming from Honda boxes. That, the quiet indicators and the silly AC light that's hidden under the fan control adjuster !!!
  17. Sweet man, that will really wake the car up I'm sure, as well as lower your MPG I'm sure, WOT and redlining will be the order of the next few months I'm sure !!! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

    My Z32 SWB

Looks much better, its hard to forget how much of a difference this mod makes. But yeah, you're gunna have to do the fogs/driving lights now .
  19. Ah, sweet man. Easy enough ??? Any tips ??
  20. I get the feeling mate, that GTA is only any good, or to out it better, plays as it's designed to, as a group thing. Being by yourself online, relying on others not to shot you dead and rob you or drive in the correct dirrction is always going to be a nightmare. At least that's what I've found anyway.
  21. Old school crazy boosted, 90's cars rock. This is what I practised drawing on the pack of cereal boxes copying from my new deck of Top Trumps. SRS my favourite card was the 300ZX, I can still remember the picture and the only way to beat the Testarossa was height.
  22. From what I have read about on the interwebs, Stillen Gen 3's appear to be the best for gains, cold air intake and cost. I've come to that conclusion myself though. http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/370z_STILLEN_Generation_3_Ultra_Long_Tube_Dual_Intake_Kit/370Z-402852_.aspx That's what I'll be getting come intake time, unless something second hand comes up that I have an interest in. Just need to settle on an exhaust now, then I'll have a direction to go in. Power is really a side effect at this point, only experience and time in the car will improve my driving and times now. I'm purely getting the intake and exhaust for an audible factor as the OEM set up is dire. Totally dire.
  23. Also bear in mind that some insurance companies don't cover you fully comp when outside of the UK, it switches to TPFT. I think I was quoted £30 to have the full cover over Europe for my trip.
