  1. I wonder if it'll make it over here in it entirety, currently we can't Tax the car online for example, but we can book the MoT and some people have had success in using the DVLA website to tax their car, others haven't been able to.
  2. There will be an online check just like the MOT, technically there already is: https://www.taxdisc....?execution=e1s1 Kind of like AskMID? Is it going to tell us for how long the tax is still valid?
  3. Just had a look, Will's seems to be valued pretty close
  4. On private good. Mine was about £5500 for an '04 UK GT, should be about £6500 IMO. Will, did you enter yours as a late 05 or an 06 facelift?
  5. How do we prove, or have it proved to us, that the car is taxed when we come to buy/sell it? I guess there will be an electronic receipt issued that we'll need to keep hold of? It will be nice to clean up the windscreen a bit, though, however, in NI we still have to display the MoT disc.
  6. Wish I could, but since the badges are in a recess and there are two locator holes, I'd have to leave the car in to get them filled and the wings resprayed again. £££££ I thought about it briefly, but i can't justify spending £130 to fit the number plate when Stillen have a solution for half that, that's still easily removable in less that 2 minutes. Cheers mate, black can be a hard colour to get the same affect from since carbon fibre and other accents don't tend to stand out as much.
  7. Yea, the sides and rear are nice, not a fan of the front. The sides remind me of the Amuse style ones. For the rear, i'd personally want something to fill in the centre section, like how people with Nismo spats fit the Circuit Sports diffuser to make it more complete.
  8. Had a fiddle with them in the past. Just had a look at the zed on it there now, undervalued it by about a grand I'd say.
  9. Stage NINE!! Finally after months of waiting for this to come available, it arrived a few weeks ago and I got it booked in to be fitted ASAP. Got it back yesterday, looked pretty good despite the shop telling me the fit was pretty awful, but I'm happy with it and it's a big improvement on standard. I took a few quick snaps when I got it home I love the aggressiveness of it, especially with the lines and badge recess filled it. It's a real shame I have to fit a number plate to it There are a few companies about who make brackets that fit to the towing eye, so i'll either buy one of those or get one made up, at least I can remove it easily for shows etc. I also had the Zspeed under tray fitted at the she time which I got from Tarmac But unfortunately the underside of the bumper is about 15mm too short, so the leading edge is held on with cable ties. Nothing wrong the the tray, it's perfect, it's just a @*!# bumper New belts were fitted at the same time FOC and had the 2 wings sprayed also. Altogether for the fitting of the bumper, spraying it and the wings, fitting the under tray, belts and new smoked side indicator lenses came the paltry sum of £450. ABSOLUTE BARGAIN IMO! I had them leave the Z badges off the wings for the time being, not sure what I'm doing there yet. Might fit them again, or try something different I'll get a few more pictures tomorrow, but for now this is the last one… Very happy
  10. Got one off eBay a few days ago, but only getting close to fitting it now as the car was away. I want to hardwire it to something for power under the dash so I can leave the iOBD plugged into the port also. I know it has separate wires for hardwiring it, but has anyone any idiot proof advice on where I can connect it to? Please don't fire wiring diagrams at me, they hurt my head Thanks
  11. I don't know anyone with the Spec R1 kit

    Amuse rear

Which Amuse? Theres the 350Z rear, then theres the 370Z version which has been altered to fit the 350.
  13. The UpRev is only expensive because it includes a license. The license to use the software is around £250, so Abbey or whoever you choose don't really get all that much out of it.
  14. What do you with the yellow box and when the chopper thing decapatates your neighbour?
  15. If it ruined the ride, everyone wouldn't be riding on them, simples
  16. I only do it from 5th to 6th and that's because the syncro's are starting to go there. The rest of the time it works as it should and in my case, would probably produce a slower lap in double clutching.
  17. CS does them also Clarks
  18. Happy Birthday Hopefully reading this thread will "offset" the pain of getting one year older
  19. It'll sound the same as a UK zed. It's the exhaust on the import that makes it sound different, so by changing that, you're removing the restriction.
  20. I'm pretty sure I seen a silver mirror on eBay today. Could be wrong side or GM, but have a look.
  21. I have the orange hose, if I can find a polished one that tickles my fancy and some orange couplers, it'll be for sale
  22. No idea on the wheels but that car is stunning, making me rethink my opinion of the 370 amuse bumper on a black car. Hmmm anyone want a carbon Nismo V2?
  23. They're comparing a handful of convertibles against a coupe, so most comparisons are out the window. The zed was originally designed as a coupe so the convertible version will never be as good as it would have been if it was originally designed that way. Anyway, the early Boxsters aren't much to look at, but are supposed to handle superbly. The S2000 is supposed to be a great car, but needs its nuts twisted something shocking to get the best from it. Early Z4s apparently have a very harsh ride and most are low power small engine examples. None of these are really comparable with the Zed and if you watch the various comparison videos on YouTube from Japan, you'll see that the zed whooped them all on track
