  1. Wasso is a member on here who is an expert in polishing metal and detailing cars, he also trades in plenum spacers which are cheaper than the Anerican brands, better looking and better made PM him or looking in the member traders section for his thread, it's near the top.
  2. So long as there are atleast 6 stamps in the book and it comes up HPI clear it looks a good buy
  3. So wait, the one in the video is the driftworks one? So who's running this group buy?
  4. That BCL is awful! Solid legs which are too akimbo
  5. Set a few times myself. There's probably another second or so on each track

    GOODIES :)

OK, thanks, so if I wanted the rears done as well, it'll be about another £400, £200 per cup? Watching this with interest
  7. Stick it to 1.5 degrees camber and as little toe in as possible.
  8. It needs to come down a good 10cm from those pictures and I wonder how wide the legs are. Deadman/Aliveboy was looking one and few others, but I agree, it needs to be on an aggressively modded Zed, not a Mines lip lol
  9. You need the ARK HFC's then. Thats what the resonator is for, to reduce the noise

More to the point, how much did the 2 cups and compressor cost and do you need an air tank?
  11. Put it this way, a 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 Rota Grid with 245/35 and 275/35 tyre is pretty much the same weight as the OEM wheels with 225/45 and 245/45 tyres. The only way you will get the same weights as the Rays is to spend big money, over £2000.
  12. What kind of money are you looking to spend? I have one in the garage with a brand new filter in it.
  13. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Carbon-Fibre-176cm-GT-Spoiler-for-Nissan-200sx-180sx-Skyline-350Z-300ZX-/371005940491?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3A350+Z&hash=item5661ad630b 176cm wide, 39-49cm high. Pretty tempting but I can't see how the thing is adjusted down because it looks crap sitting so high.
  14. Admiral have always done this. You have to log into your account to see the renewal quote, then phone them to lower it or cancel. It's @*!# because they always double your quote. My renewal was over £900, quote from their website is £544.
  15. Ouch! Travelling too fast on the autobahn probably and not knowing how to handle a wobble.

you're not expanding the damper. You basically remove the top mount off the coilover, ad the lifter to the top mount and then the whole assembly is the top mount. So when you raise the car it just lifts, and the shock extends normally was if you had long travel. Ahhhh gotcha So could easily be used on the rear also then? Might be an option for me in the future then
  17. Exact same tyres as me then, can only assume it's my larger girth Hmm, at the most, low profile and wide tyres are a disadvantage, aren't they? Honestly no idea, but wider tyres = more traction
  18. Not as far as I am aware, but a mile is shorter than you think.
  19. 2 good calls there, however I think the 5 series could handle it depending on the weight of the trailer. Is it expensive to do trailer tests in the south? I guess it is because everything bloody is
  20. You see, I would. I'd happily travel a bit to meet a buyer if I felt they were serious. But, at the same time i'd still rather see it start from cold. I bought my Zed when it was warm and I sold by motorbike when it was warm, no problems with either.

    Sun strips

They can be solid, but they can only be so big. I think it's a percentage of the window. Not a fan of them anyway.

So is the spring resting on this thing instead of the top mount, so to speak? Then when it wants to raise, it expands putting pressure on the spring and top mount, expanding the damper, lifting the car? Hmmm, does that sound healthy for a damper to be under the full load of the car and stretched?
  23. What tyres you running? I've had mine in similar conditions to that and it was fine. I do however have 19's and 275 rear tyres, maybe that helped a bit.
