  1. Thanks guys The cars had a good birthday with some new toys. About to head out for a big feed of medium cooked fillet steak followed by The Wolf of Wallstreet Feeling old
  2. Wait, aren't they the right way up? Shouldn't the cylinder be at the top as per the photo so the oils are at the bottom to keep the piston and rod lubricated? Bottom brackets are 100% upside down though. Cars at another house so can't check.
  3. I think we'd be good if they could tell us how much they'll be to ship 5 to the UK. I'm sure most people could collect but i'd have to work out postage form the mainland also.
  4. Nothing new, Macbook have had this for years. I can use my computer with only having to remove my fingers from the touchpad if I want to type, all other actions: back page, forward page, change window, scroll up/down etc can be performed using different combinations and movements of fingers.

    Steering mods

PM Bizz, he has some crazy arms
  6. I'd love one, I could put a clock in one and a barometer in the other, NA FTW
  7. Lazy customer servicing. It's almost as if they can only answer one question at a time. Have you sent a message back to tell them that this IS the wing and now we want real prices?
  8. Tyre looks like a balloon in Stevo's picture. Dave, you're wrong, sorry
  9. 60mm So you're going for the US slammed look and have your dampers turned up to 36?

    I need a 4x4!!

If i was in this situation I would be looking at the obvious, Rangey
  11. I would never go 40's on a 19" rim, the tyres will look too big.
  12. ADBlock doesn't work because it's not a pop up unfortunately. It's annoys the hell out of me too! I would t mind except it's positioned perfectly over the effing picture!! :rage:

    Wheel gurus

19x10.5 et 20 needs rolled rears when lowered 15 mm more than yours, your setup has 11mm more poke so I'm pretty sure you'll need a wee roll.
  14. It looks awesome, and well priced for all genuine Nismo parts, even though it is an import.
  15. Keep the spacers... The offsets are a little weak (Same as standard Rays nearly) so with the spacers you will have a nice offset. Then you might just get a 275 on the rear. Agree, roll the rear arches and keep the spacers, it'll be perfect
  16. Is it the Circuit Sports style one or the awesome Top Secret one that you're after?
  17. haha it looks like an L and will be under your boot mat
  18. They look a lot nicer than the UK rays, wow, looking forward to seeing these on the car! I'll get some pics up with them on sunday assuming I can work out how to fit them... Never fitted wheels >.< would it be easier to take them to a garage to fit? I have a socket set and the jack that comes with the car... Might take you longer than a garage but then you'll have to transport the wheels too so overall just the same. Just make sure you double check all the nuts once you've tightened them up and after a short journey too double check em. The zed jack is a ball ache to use though. True that! Do I need any special tools that aren't in my socket set? I think my next door neighbour probably has the stuff I need anyway Cheers You need a jack, the tyre iron and your foot, thats it
  19. I'm in Kent so Surrey Isn't the end of the world for me, hopefully I haven't sold the BMW before next Sunday as I don't think 4 wheels with tyres will fit in the back Wouldn't I need to take the tyres off to weigh them and get something useful? I'll do it next time I change them (he said there is reasonable tread, but I'll find out what that actually means when I pick them up I guess..) Cheers Weight with tyres will be fine mate
  20. Those tyre sizes will be fine I had my eye on those for a while, but i couldn't justify them and with the lazy "pick up only" I couldn't be bothered messaging the seller to explain to him how to ship a wheel. I look forward to seeing them on the car, not seen them on a stock looking zed before Do us a favour? Weigh them when they arrive, I'd be interested to see how they compare to UK Rays
  21. I'm sure it was simply overlooked at the time, probably had other more important niggles to sort out
  22. just get a low offset rim, don't be messing about trying to calculate with spacers etc. As mentioned before, 9.5 front and 10.5 rear et 20 is perfect, try and find that. If the rim in thinner, i.e. 9.0 and 10.0, you need to drop the offset to keep the same stance. The rim will be half and inch thinner, so thats 1/4 inch less poke on the outside, so you need the offset to be 1/4 inch lower (6mm). 9"/10" et 12 works well also
