  1. You're supposed to be able to treat vinyl exactly the same as paint. When doing a full details on mine (vinyl roof) I don't use any compound or polish on the vinyl, but it gets the same shampoo, wax and detailer as the rest of the car, all Meguiars stuff. Mines still good 6 months down the line.
  2. Look at the shape, they're for DE models, roughly upto 06. Anyone who wants these, this is a bargain for genuine Nissan ones.
  3. haha, this has progressed quickly! lol I love the amuse kit from the previous page
  4. Wow, what a busy day, loads of work top do on my own car, then 3 sets of reflectors to build! longsh07 - I collected yours from the PO today, all built and undergoing testing/drying. Will be posted Tuesday DannyG & Madhatter - I had to go to another post office location to pay customs fees on these but I expected it anyway, this is what's delayed yours otherwise they would have been here on Tuesday. Anyway, same as longsh07, theyre all built and undergoing testing/drying. Will be posted Tuesday, im sending you a payment PM not to ensure theres no hold ups
  5. I have a powerflow stainless system on mine, and when I got it I don't think the owner had ever cleaned it, corrosion and dirt everywhere. I got round to doing it after owning the car for a good 6 weeks orso and all it took was 10 mins per tip and they look like new, just 1 small spot left. That was just using Autosol and a MF cloth its amazing stuff!
  6. Was the K pin bent before do you know? Could be as simple as it just being bent during a pad install. They aren't very strong as their job isn't to withstand much pressure, just to stop the retaining pin that holds the calipers from wiggling out.
  7. If anyone needs this, send me a PM. I have 5 sets left, includes system software upgrade as well as European maps.
  8. Always happens mate, mine were the same, roughly 2-3mm difference on inners compared to outers when I last changed mine. Also, track day on Pagid brakes ! lol That K pin, is it bent, ir just moved over, sometimes the round pins that hold the brake pads rotate slightly and will rotate the K pins with them, shouldn't bend them though.
  9. I just clean it in direct sunlight and deal with the heat. Oh, and spray myself with the jet washer...
  10. You could get a Blowover type job for somewhere between your 600-1000 budget im thinking, but not a proper full respray job.
  11. Agreed, however that 70 does looks sexy I don't know, no sooner is your project completed, you want a new toy! haha
  12. Im afraid to visit that URL from work, so I wont
  13. if you had this up for sale 6 months ago id have bitten your hand off. GLWTS mate
  14. I havnt fitted it myself, but I know you can get the fans out without removing any other components. I dare say the shroud is a similar story. I don't think the plugs and wire colours match the Nissan loom, you need to do some splicing, but its something that was done on here recently so there is a quick Red -> Green, orange->white kinda guide on here somewhere.
  15. bump-a-riffic, 6 months lol. Issue is long sorted. You do have to tell them, simples. They know about my non fault crash
  16. Actually (and don't take this personally, I'm on a roll!), how is it useful info in any way, shape or form? Did you not know that high value cars get stolen in London? Or that it might not be a good idea to leave your car keys with a bunch of randoms? I have other helpful advice here too: 1. Don't eat yellow snow. 2. Never sit under a cow. 3. Pink before brown, unless directed. All more helpful than knowing some cars got stolen in London. /offtopic You're lucky i'm in a good mood today! Number 3 made me laugh however very true lol
  17. Wondered if Alex would have popped back in and answered that Ive no idea how het gets these bushes, if it is those, but they're certainly much cheaper than the full arm from Nissan, or indeed himself. Ive got no idea of the garage cost to replace it however. From looking online, the banana arm itself isn't the easiest thing to get to. Id imagine its a lot easier with a ramp and air tools however.
  18. Its REALLY easy to clean it, honest to god. I did it in front of my mum, on mine and her car and she said even she could do that.
  19. Can always give cleaning the motors ago. If your that way inclined obviously!
  20. Well, even though I don't live near there, its still very useful info. Is it pure coincidence that the owners had all been to the hand car wash? Im willing to bet most of them are owned by the same company anyway, wouldn't take much for a few of them to collude together and run a scam like this.
