Where are you based buddy?
I'm in Suffolk not too far to travel to London or something.
The switch version does sound good as It means removing less. But it's not as reliable, as you said what with the positioning and the issue with it maybe falling off.
Still definatly up for it and if nobody is about to help me fit I'm sure il give it a go one day when I'm in a brave mood!
Thanks for adding me to the list. Il buy one but will possibly wait for someone to fit it if possible even getting the plastic door card off looks a bit of a pain, especially when it comes to the door handle.
Sorry for a couple of stupid questions....
1. Does the engine cover fit back on properly after this is fitted (the black plastic one) and will it cause any issues if i get a carbon one in the future?
2. Does the standard strut brace fit back over the top as it is or do you need to use some washers to raise the height, OR is it a case of a new strut bar?
Looked at a few videos of installing them and it looks fairly easy to be honest
I dont like the fog stuff. Its good at first but over a week orso it gets less transparent for some reason and almost looks a little like condensation, and at this point its a PITA to get off.
The RainX stuff is great though!
heh, as i said, the way i described is the same with most cars, however some could theoretically have the reflector screwed/bonded in place and the adjuster just move the HID projector unit.
Seems a rather fiddly way of doing things however.
On most cars with headlamp adjusters the inside silver parts actually pivot, the electrical adjuster 'holds' the inside on either the top or the bottom and pushes or pulls it which aims the lights up or down so there wont actually be (to my knowledge) any screws or anything physically holding the inside in place.
Perhaps it may wobble if the adjuster is adjusted 100% one way? dont know really.
Il take it for £60?
I dont suppose there is a photo with these fitted aswell? not that it matters i just wanted to see
I will probably need them posted though, but maybe not as i dont know where you are. Im in suffolk. Obviously il pay extra for postage.
Thanks, some people/forums are a little wary of new members buying & selling things thats all.
Ive took the throttle controller and bluetooth adaptor anyways
Not even buying the car for a few weeks and its already started....
Just in-case anoyones wondering. you can also use carb cleaner on the MAF's. Just be a bit carefull as theyre generally very delecate and a full on jet from a spray can could damage them, try to do it a a distance or something and make sure its dry before refitting.
I know im new to this forum (ish) but could i take the throttle controller if its still available? I can pay via paypal immediatly
You also have a PM about the bluetooth adaptor.
