  1. I have a feeling you're going to regret that! haha, thanks for the offer though mate, i may well call you up on it
  2. haha yes indeed. Il have to tear it apart and find out what it does!. I was worridly looking at the guages and all sorts wondering what was wrong, then the dealer said he assumed it was a detector too.
  3. haha im already wising it was 5:30 on friday. My current Insurance has about a month left on it and i switched it over from the Celica to the Z for about £30 extra. Not too bad. I couldnt get insured on the "drive away/1 day insurance" places, mostly due to my age, im 24 however...weird. As for extras. The car has a gloss wrapped roof, a CAI, 4 very good tyres and a powerflow dual exit cat back system. Also, when i approached a speed camera something inside the dashboard beeped, what the heck is this??
  4. Yes. Indeed you did! Well, the car was a flawless example. Deposit paid, price and part exchange agreed. I'm collecting her Friday
  5. Nice cars yeah, but you end up stiring the gearbox a hell of a lot to get a small ammount of power out of it, thats the only issue really. Thats one of the main draws to the 350 as i want power (not crap loads, just enough where it makes driving easy) without having to weld the pedel to the floor ! I've already bought the gloss black wrap form RTBiscuit, so il be re-selling that.
  6. Hey, Thought id best post a "im a n00b" topic in here. Been on the forums for a short while with my stupid questions and even bought a few bits from members and traders on here but am finally getting a 350z soon! Im leaving tonight from work to go and take a look at this.... http://www.uplandsmotorcompany.co.uk/used-cars/nissan-350-z-3-5-v6-3dr-enfield-201301497510161 Will be trading in my Celica for this and some savings etc. Seems a good car from what i can see here, but we shall see this evening.
  7. Maybe its worth just lubricating this if you every get the door cards off then, just to prevent it happening in the future/again
  8. i want 102 RON fuel . Does anywhere in the UK sell anything above Vpower strength?
  9. Love the magic tree christmas tree!
  10. That massive turbo in that supra! Im guessing dyno'ing is pretty stresfull on a car then? or are these just bads tunes/bad builds?
  11. Is this any use at all? http://www.the370z.com/audio-video/43084-ecm-bcm-wiring-diagram-pics-tech-sheet.html
  12. Where are you based buddy? I'm in Suffolk not too far to travel to London or something. The switch version does sound good as It means removing less. But it's not as reliable, as you said what with the positioning and the issue with it maybe falling off. Still definatly up for it and if nobody is about to help me fit I'm sure il give it a go one day when I'm in a brave mood!
  13. Thanks for adding me to the list. Il buy one but will possibly wait for someone to fit it if possible even getting the plastic door card off looks a bit of a pain, especially when it comes to the door handle.
  14. Screw it. I'm probably gonna kill myself when I drop the door glass but maybe I can get someone to fit it.... I'm In.
  15. So just to clarify. To fit this the door card has to come off aswell as the internal metal sheet and the door glass needs to come out?
  16. As above, providing fitting isn't too Intrusive to the car
  17. Sorry for a couple of stupid questions.... 1. Does the engine cover fit back on properly after this is fitted (the black plastic one) and will it cause any issues if i get a carbon one in the future? 2. Does the standard strut brace fit back over the top as it is or do you need to use some washers to raise the height, OR is it a case of a new strut bar? Looked at a few videos of installing them and it looks fairly easy to be honest
  18. I dont like the fog stuff. Its good at first but over a week orso it gets less transparent for some reason and almost looks a little like condensation, and at this point its a PITA to get off. The RainX stuff is great though!
  19. Damn beat me too it on the cover! Il take the antenna though please.
  20. heh, as i said, the way i described is the same with most cars, however some could theoretically have the reflector screwed/bonded in place and the adjuster just move the HID projector unit. Seems a rather fiddly way of doing things however.
  21. On most cars with headlamp adjusters the inside silver parts actually pivot, the electrical adjuster 'holds' the inside on either the top or the bottom and pushes or pulls it which aims the lights up or down so there wont actually be (to my knowledge) any screws or anything physically holding the inside in place. Perhaps it may wobble if the adjuster is adjusted 100% one way? dont know really.
  22. Il take it for £60? I dont suppose there is a photo with these fitted aswell? not that it matters i just wanted to see I will probably need them posted though, but maybe not as i dont know where you are. Im in suffolk. Obviously il pay extra for postage.
  23. Thanks, some people/forums are a little wary of new members buying & selling things thats all. Ive took the throttle controller and bluetooth adaptor anyways Not even buying the car for a few weeks and its already started....
