Bm, I had no idea you were a PC guy too heh. Mines as follows, Intel i5 OC'd to 4.5Ghz (with all in one water cooler) 16GB of Corsair Balistix tracer ram 128GB OCZ Vertex 3 SSD 3TB Western Digital HDD Asus P8Z67 VPro Gen 3 motherboard Gigabyte (NVidia) 680GTX Graphics (again, overclocked) Asus Xonar 7.1 surround sound card Logitech Z906 Surround Sound system I have a separate machine for....downloading... which is as follows Intel i3 (under clocked) Cooled by EK H30 240 Water-cooling kit 4 GB of Corsair (blue) Vengeance RAM 128GB OCZ Vertex 3 SSD 1TB Samsung HDD Asus P8H77 mini ITX motherboard Hand braided white and blue cables through the whole machine (NEVER TRY THIS, 30-40 hrs work for a mini ATX machine....) Il have to get some photos later on for you all. The second machine is on 24/7 so is optimised for cool, silent and above all power sipping. It only does downloading so no need for massive power, still, not that the i3 is underpowered, and it has some decent RAM.

Yep, sadly all to common. I just change from 5-6 slower than usual, wait for the RPM to drop a little. After all, if your hooning it in 5th and heading for 6th you're already doing somewhere 100+

I love the waxes, some are amazing, some not so however. But yes, my 2 fave items are the helshine glass cleaner and the nanolex sealant (which ive used all of ..) Also like the MF cloth and buffing pad we always seme to get, along with, just recently the detailing picks. Really cant complain for £15

I read this whole thread as Moped for some reason. Made absolutely feck all sense...until I realised....

This, exactly, I also have a dash cam and am much more careful with my driving. Even though I have told my insurers, you don't legally have to produce this evidence in court, so I cant get myself into trouble, but id rather not have a video of me acting like a tit and wrecking the car. Aaaaanyway. Ive bene caught speeding once, 4 years ago, and I have jumped 1 red light by accident in the 5 and a bit years ive been driving, I have also occasionally sped up to nip through a yellow, im sure 95% of drivers do, its just the way modern man drives. The video shows blatant red light jumping when the vehicle had plenty of time and space to stop but decided not too, not very smart . Admittedly, the best thing to do would be to send the evidence to the police rather than a public forum, but in all honestly, no-one has been hurt by it posting here, his reg plate is clearly visible if you saw him driving down the steet and is probably captured by a good number of public and private CCTV cameras every day so unless there's something to hide he shouldn't mind it being posted on a car club. BBK, send an email to your local PC, im pretty sure they wont do much as there clearly isn't a red light camera, and you are a police officer but he will get a written warning and it may save someone's life next time he decides not to do this.

Glad they arrived safely, hope your happy with them

Must be a rather power hungry dvd drive! Anyway, I really hope they work for you all, don't think anyone's tried them yet!

Really a sad story Wonder what the cause of the accident was, as in speed, mechanical issue, road condition etc
-
Squeeks can be caused by the rear drop links so ive been informed. Mine do it, seemingly dependant on temperature on things like speed bumps and slightly uneven roads.

Air conditioning - does it go lower than 18degrees?

mines the same, hole in the radiator (which im guessing is the condenser). -
Help Needed: Brembo Inner pads wearing faster than Outer Pads
cs2000 replied to Oz Striker's topic in Brakes
When I changed mine I swapped the metal part over, but im guessing you should also swap the rubber backing that was on the brembos, I never bothered -
Im bored at work so thought I do some maths, this is total amount of work and parts involved in making 19 sets of these! 17 metres wire 568 Individual solder joints 266 LED's 1,300 ml of Silicone around 30 hours of build time.

I always thought 1500 wet and dry and yes it will scratch the paint. The idea being the liquor needs something to hang onto and will fill in the small holes caused by the paper.
-
Sounds good, as someone would say, do it nice, or do it twice!
-
Im sure if you had a correct paint, you could just use primer on the bung to ensure the paint colour looked correct.

I bought mine 6 months ago for 6500, 2004 with 54,000 miles. That's well overpriced.

Ive posted all the update disks out yesterday, IF they work (which I cant guarantee, I don't have a 370, but they should) I would be grateful if members did forward them on seeing as you really only use them once, there's no need for the disks afterwards is there. If no-ones willing I can create more, but il leave it a while yet. And remember, its only for the Connect Premium package, nothing else. And remember, Disk 0 (that's tucked inside the instruction leaflet) updates the system software. Disk 1,2,3,4 and European Map Updates, the full update of these map could take up to 2 hours and you have to leave the key in the car and the car running whilst it does this, don't ask why its just what the instruction book written by Nissan says to do.

Free showroom Shine Car Cleaning Pack
cs2000 replied to Level 7 Boss's topic in Spotted on Ebay or Other
Useful as quick detailer but nothing else. My dad uses it as an all-in-one wash, which is awe full as your just rubbing the dirt around. Does look very shiny afterwards though but I can guarantee if it got a proper wash it would look bloody awful. I never got the one I requested though perhaps stock ran out. -
Did mine and its fixed too

No-one close by to assist? Id offer but im in Suffolk, bit far for you to drive. REALLY simple in all honesty, after the wheels are off its 1 bolt, a few light taps with a hammer, lube up and then re-tighten the bolt. if you print out the guide and give it to any local garage you trust it shouldn't be more than 1 hrs labour + materials (unless you provide the lube too, which id highly recommend). Or, yet another thought, come to the Ace Café meet in a week and a half http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/66360-350z-370z-ace-cafe-london-meet-sat-aug-3rd-11am-4pm and then were going to RT's after, they would do it or you (probably before though).

Hey all, got a project brewing and I just need a bit of help. I did plan on adding a start button for the car, however, ive come to the idea of RFID. I have backed a ring on Kickstarter which has 2 RFID tags in it, and I have located a RFID access controller here https://dangerousthings.com/shop/125khz-em4200-access-controller/ My question is this. The controller needs in input of +12V and a ground this is easy, and when a recognised tag is head over the reader (which in the photo in the rounded black shape with the 4 feet) it outputs 12v on another line . So, just think of the single 12V output. Im now figuring im going to need a regular 4 pin relay, so, the 12v from the RFID system above goes to Pin 85, Pin 86 is grounded, Pin 87 connects to the ignition wire and Pin 30 is connected to the starter wire, that look right? Just need assistance finding out which is the starter and which is the ignition wire now. On the US forum, they mention two wire colours, but im betting they're different in the UK, but the location should be the same right? Ive drawn the connector below, the central pin ive labled I as I believe this is the ignition wire, so this would connect to relay Pin 87, and the one to the left labled S should be the starter, this would connect to relay Pin 30 ___|-----|___ |___|_I_|_S_| |___|___|___|

I like a nice heavy wheel Honestly, im almost certain its not possible without possibly somehow a oversized power steering pump, my thoughts being it would pump harder and therefore feel lighter, but I doubt its even possible. The zeds not that heavy anyway, go back to the days of driving a Vauxhall Astra estate with a 2.0 ltr non turbo diesel that has no power steering and weighed about 2 tonne, then tell me the zeds steering is heavy!

They look really good, glad you're please with them

Fair enough RT but thankls for trying Cheers Sized, B2AutoDesigns also sell them straight from the USA, il have a chat with them both when the time is right.
