Hi guys, I fitted a set of Eibach springs to my 350Z and in general I'm happy with the way the car sits. I'm used to coilovers on my other cars but thought I'd try lowering springs with this one to see if I can cope without slamming it! I like the arch gap to be similar front and rear but the rear sits nicely and there is a bit more arch gap on the front. Is there any way I could get the front down 10mm or so more without fitting coilovers? Any help appreciated. Cheers Sam

I generally give it 30-60 seconds before moving it, but don't put my foot down much at all until up to temp

Does uprev help much with fuel economy? Or will it just provoke my right foot more?

I average 18-19mpg. 250-260 miles out of a tank! Generally do short journeys though and have a relatively heavy foot!

Plate in window is just as illegal as not having one on at all, for reference. There's no minimum plate size but there is minimum character size and spacing, which are on the dvla site I believe, can't quite remember them off the top of my head. What size is that plate? I have a 12x3 on the front which is a little on the tiny side!

I have a double din Alpine HU with a 7" screen, how do I know if it will accept a reverse cam? Sorry for the slight thread hi-jack but it seemed relevant rather than creating a new thread!

You're only lifting half a car maximum at a time so 1.8T should be enough for almost all cars! I may be interested in the group buy depending on the price (as may a mate of mine). I already have a Clarke 2.5T and a smaller low profile trolley jack but another big one can't be a bad idea!!

I have a nice big Clarke 2.5T Aluminium one, it was something like £155 from Machine mart and as fantastic! They do a slightly lower profile one for a little more money also but I've found mine fine and I have some low cars! It's generally ok but if not a plank of wood solves the problem. It has a nice big cup too

Sounds like fun I'd fit winter tyres to the front of mine but not the rear I don't think, far too sensible!

The secondary O2 sensors on the cats are only to tell the engine whether the cats are working or not as far as I'm aware. One or both of mine are knackered and the car runs fine! I fitted decats and haven't sorted the O2 sensor and it still runs fine

I was number about #700 on the list when I left home. Gave my username on the way in and the guy scanned down the list, clearly didn't see me and said "Cheers, go on through"

This sale is for the heated rear glass which is currently still inside the boot lid. I will look into removing it but otherwise the boot lid will come free. The glass is in good condition, not cracked or chipped. If I attempt to remove it and crack it then I will remove it from sale. The heating element worked well when it was fitted to my car. I have no idea what it's worth so I'm going to ask for £80 collected from Chandler's Ford, near Southampton. Paintwork on this boot lid is extremely poor and would need a respray if you were to fit it to a car. The plastics, centre brake light and small parcel shelf thing are not included. Sorry for the poor quality photo's - they're the best I can get for now!

I average around 18mpg, maybe 19mpg... I'd consider myself to have a slightly heavy right foot though. I could easily get over 20mpg daily if I wanted to, but thatd be boring

For a track car, I quite like that!

What offset are the fronts? Or are they et15 all round? Definitely won't need the spacers.

It if interest how long will a new genuine motor last? My passenger window doesn't work at all and I'd like to fix it at some point, just can't justify £179 right now!

Cheers, I'll probably hold out for a used set anyway. My standard lights are fine really, just LEDs are that little bit nicer.

I found some on ebay US for something like £160 inc. postage and import taxes. That's not bad but thought I may be able to find some used cheaper. Not bothered if they're genuine or not but don't really want to spend over £100 at the moment when I don't NEED them

Yeah sorry I wasn't in the Zed I was in my orange GT3 RS I wish!
