  1. Yep exactly that. Just tried WD40 and no luck
  2. So I just started to remove my centre console and got to the bolt on the driver side next to the seat and my seat (electric) will tilt forward/back but won't slide!! After a bit of research people say remove the seat and take the motor apart, well the seat is as far back as it'll go so I can't remove it! Any ideas where to start?? Thanks Sam
  3. For reference, my Zed has 103k miles on the clock (53 plate) and still runs nicely

    Drifting

As I said it doesn't bother me as I don't use it, I was just curious

Yeah I'm not bothered I was just curious. I'd fear for my clutch attempting to light them up from standstill in 2nd!!

With the switch in the yaw sensor enable spinning up in first gear too? I've found it drifts well in 2nd/3rd gears but not 1st.

It's not hard to turn It off but it leaves the adaptive breaking thing on, and I'd rather it just stayed off for simplicity

Never drive with it on! Likewise! Every drive starts with engine on, TC off. Trying to work out how to turn it off permanently. Get a switch put into a yaw sensor. You'll need to be able to activate it for the mot. A toggle switch would keep it off all year and then you'd be able to turn it on for the mot. You've also completely deactivated it then too unlike just pressing the button when it stays partially on. I've been meaning to research this. Is there a guide anywhere? Where is this sensor and what exactly needs to be done? To be honest, I got jez at Horsham developments to do it, whilst they changed my belts over so I didn't actually see it being done. I'm sure a pm to him would reveal the answer as he's always been really helpful when I've asked stupid questions Cheers mate I'll fire him a PM

  11. When considering part worns.. If you bought a set of wheels on a forum/eBay that had tyres, would you change the tyres before fitting the wheels? Obviously if they're all mis-matched that's a different story, but assuming they're at least matching pairs per axle. I know I wouldn't change them, which is why I would be happy with part worn tyres (as long as I had matching pairs per axle). On the budget note also.. I used to hate budget tyres but I have used Nankang NS2's now (bought a set of wheels for my other car which had brand new NS2's fitted) and I have to say I was surprised. Good level of grip and that was used both on the road and drifting. I'd like to try Nankang NS-2R's which are the trackday equivalent and look awesome!

  13. Did you get to the bottom of this mate? I have the light flashing up too now! Tried the ignition thing and it just made it flash slower.
  14. They'd need hub adapters from Nissan (5x114.3 - 66.1CB ) to BMW fitment (5x120 - 72.6CB ) which would be 20-25mm. Can't remember widths/offsets off the top of my head and not sure whay size tyres you'd have to run to get them on a Zed, but they look awesome!
  15. Likewise! The 19mm didn't fit. Other than that, useful DIY
  16. May be worth trying a part worn place near you if you know of one. There's one near me who do 20" tyres for something like £55-60 each fitted I think.
  17. A303 Eastbound about 11:20 Anyone on here?
  18. Search 12x3 front number plate on eBay and you'll find mine!
  19. All depends on the area as to whether police are strict on plates I've found. Generally fine around me. I've run with no front plate or a small front plate for a good few years now and only been pulled once, and let off. Touch wood it stays this way

    So... MPG

Read my edit a few posts above bud! Makes sense but I've yet to own a car more than 18 months I may get it done though.
  21. They've been fitted a month or two and have done a couple thousand miles so they've definitely settled as much as they will unfortunately.
  22. Awesome wheels but would need a wider body to work really.
