  1. Did I miss a price on the coilovers?
  2. Damn too slow... Would have saved me removing and painting mine!
  3. I think the longest I've owned a car is about 18 months! I'd say I'll try and keep this one longer but I'm not sure what the future holds....
  4. I'll let you know when mime arrive next week. I'll try to get a picture but we all know taking a picture of light never comes out well...
  5. Yeah not standard but looks acceptable 30mm down, 25mm out front and 30mm out rear, in my opinion
  6. Yeah that's acceptable!! None of that crap in the first post though. That looks good! It's only on Eibach springs at the moment (usually go for coilovers but seeing if I can cope with just springs this time). Really want to go lower but keep telling myself to keep this one practical...
  7. I'm a big fan of 'stanced' cars... Low and wide is good in my opinion. A small amount of camber is also not that bad but silly camber is just plain shite.
  8. Hard to tell from the pictures but a good machine polish would make a big difference, depending on the depth of the scratches! Wonder what he'd take for it... Probably make a fair amount breaking it!
  9. There are so many out there I never know which are good /last! I've had a few in the past which died after a few months. Cheap and 12 month warranty with those, what's not to like Cheers for the link, ordered
  10. I'll hold mine until the summer of they're worth more no rush to get rid, in fact they're still fitted to the car! Still got the mint set in the garage from you 350Ad!
  11. 1m x 1.5m sheet will definitely cover the roof. I think it's something like 90cm x 120cm.
  12. I also have a presentable set. Bit of paint flake / few light curb marks from previous owner. Tyres on the front are average if I remember correctly, tyres on the rear are shot. Not sure what they're worth!
  13. Fair enough, I think I'll adjust my comment 99% for posers, 1% practical application. I think 'horrid' is a little of an over statement but each to their own Am I the only one who doesn't think they look that bad without spacers? Pretty much
  14. Wrapped my B pillars tonight, looks good but I'm going to stick to a few smaller bits rather than the roof. It's not exactly what I'd call 'gloss' - it's shiny and looks good, but would need to be high gloss for the roof. That said I may go over the B pillars with a couple of coats of gloss lacquer to see how they look.. Worst case I can peel the vinyl off and do it again
  15. Yeah I'll definitely be removing the A pillars but had a look yesterday and don't think I'll get as good a finish on the rear edge with the boot lid on as I can't get my fingers in the gap properly to flatten the vinyl down. Wouldn't want to go to all the effort of doing it for the rear to then lift just for the sake of an hour removing the boot lid
  16. Yeah I have stone chip which has rusted a bit so will tidy that up and then wrap it I think. For best results I think I may remove the bootlid. It's a bit of a faf but will mean a better edge for the sake of an extra hour or so.
  17. Not yet, I did ask but he's clearly been busy / forgotten. I'll chase for an update tomorrow
  18. That does indeed! Ordered the vinyl so I'll see what it looks like when it arrives.
  19. Considering carbon wrapping my roof, not sure whether it'll be good or OTT. Any chance anyone else has done it?
  20. Yeah I used harnesses for road use in my e46 and preferred them. Once you've had them you don't feel as safe in a standard seatbelt in my opinion! I'd use a bucket seat for road use but quite like the comfort and heated element of the standard seats (for a change from my last car which was fully stripped/buckets/harnesses etc
  21. Very valid point, I may get a bucket seat and just fit the harness for track days.
