I heard a lot of bad reviews about the 453 as opposed to the 452. I've had quite a few 452s and found them great. You're right in thinking the 453s are harder but as above try letting a little air out.

Maybe they're based on silver/gunmetal prices...

I think it may work if you had a few other carbon bits. Wrapped mirror covers wouldn't look as good as the real thing though. I've wrapped a few bits on my Zed in carbon but have no real carbon so I think they look alright.

I've never understood why people fit single exits on cars that come with twin exhausts, especially when they leave an exhaust cut out in the other side of the bumper. The weight saving must be minimal and they look @*!# (my opinion, no offence to anyone with one!)

Not a big fan of the spoiler but it's in keeping with the theme, large splitter etc. I think the 17" wheels look ok, although would look better spaced a bit more!

I've been trying to stick with the rays as they're light, strong and a good looking wheel. Unfortunately I have been known to be a bit of a wheel whore and am currently running 25/30mm spacers, which I would like to eliminate if I can. My preference is 18" GTR-D's or maybe 19" Grid drifts (with the dish). No weak offsets and unfortunately no 18x12 GTR-D's, as much as I wish I could fit them, I can't. Sizes around 9.5J ET12 front and 10J ET12 rear. Not bothered about condition as long as the price reflects it, and as long as they're straight with no cracks/buckles/dents. If they're fitted with decent tyres, something like 245/40 front and 275/40 rear, then I may be interested with tyres. Otherwise without... I can collect near SO53 but otherwise would require delivery. Thanks Sam

Personally I think I'll be going for another BMW E46 330Ci sport, facelift. Top motor in my opinion and a good all rounder for a decent amount of money these days. I think I'd still need a second car though.

Yep removing the console is easy to do, 5 minute job the lid is held in by a few screws one that's off.

I had an import size plate when I flew mine through an MOT. Mines a UK not import. I now have a small 12x3 front plate as you saw at the meet, and had no problems so far! I don't think either will look odd as you can't see them both at the same time

Ultimately cash is king in my opinion. Every cat I've bought/sold had been cash, values up to £10k!

PM me an offer for the rears and I'll think about it. They're both straight in good condition, few light curb marks and a bit of peeling inside the spokes but no chunks missing etc. Very presentable (although I know you said about refurbing anyway).

Haha... Even watching a few half decent youtube clips would give him some idea. I have a mate like that, thinks he is the nuts and can barely get the arse end out! On other notes I can't imagine the lack of power in that thing. My only s14a had ~290bhp, although they only weigh about 1250kg great cars though.
