  1. I'm going next Wednesday (5th) in my e36 if my drive shafts turn up in time, or in the 350Z if not! Is anyone else??
  2. Man I wish I didn't see this! Might have to book up! I will check a few things...
  3. I need to finish spraying my badges but no time, at this rate I will be badge-less for Saturday dyno day!!
  4. Not what I wanted to hear! I have the same problem on my 53 plate with 105k miles. It has only started happening recently and isn't all the time. How would I go about checking it out?
  5. Need to do mine as the previous owner did them purple and it's a @*!# job lol

    16" rear wheels

Good news! Managed to get the stuck drive shaft out of my e36 tonight so fingers crossed I won't need to take the 350Z. Good to have a backup plan though Again, appreciate the offer to help out AliveBoy!!
  7. I'd say I'll convoy buy I'm going to be there at 08:30 to tidy up. I will see you guys there at 10am though Updated first post with details. My number is O77O6 49OO93 but as said, I don't have great signal there. Nicks number is on his website.
  8. It's a little awkward but I make it in ok Right, Nick will still run this with less people but he'd prefer cash just to save the 10% fees he gets charged for taking card. If that's really a problem he can take card but I don't personally see why it should be. It'll be £35 each. He would like people there between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Is that alright for everyone?
  9. Will do bud, I'll update here too. Hopefully it'll still be on.

    16" rear wheels

Only going to pod. I have 30mm spacers so they could work! Obviously my preference is to fix the e36 but if not I may be in touch AliveBoy, I'm not too far (Southampton).

    16" rear wheels

Right..... Having some problems with my e36 drift car and I'm concerned that it won't be ready for the drift day I have booked on 5th Feb (next Wednesday)! Worst case scenario: I'm thinking of taking the 350Z. I have loads of 16" tyres and the only spare set of wheels I have in jap fitment are a spare set of 18" rays. So my options if I have to go down this route: 1) Buy some 16" wheels (I have 30mm spacers so clearance shouldn't be an issue that way, but would it be height-wise with Brembos? 2) Buy some 17" wheels AND somehow find a load of 17" tyres 3) Somehow find a load of 18" tyres So..... 1) Good option if they'd clear the brakes as I can use the tyres I have and just have to find some 16" wheels 2) More expensive but easier to find tyres than option 3 3) Harder to find scrap 18" tyres Any other suggestions? Worst worst case would be cancel the drift day but I really don't want to do that!! Cheers Sam
  12. Ah that's annoying. Hope it's not too bad and you get it sorted! Nick originally said he wanted a minimum of 10 people to make it worth it for him. Anyone got mates who can come?? As said I'm seeing him later anyway so can discuss with him.
  13. I'd do them gloss black mate, much better to have contrast!
  14. Yeah sure I'll ask on Tuesday evening and let you guys know.
  15. Well it won't matter if a couple of people are late as we can't all go on at once Nick's phone number is on his website, I'd give mine too but I don't get signal there!
  16. I'm seeing Nick (owner of Skuzzle Motorsport) on Tuesday so can confirm then but what time do you guys want to do it? 09:30? Location is: Skuzzle Motorsport Ltd Inside Church Garage Stockbridge Road Sparsholt Winchester. SO21 2NA
  17. Nothing in particular to get started on the drifting (you'll want LSD or a welded diff though). All you do is book (£70 for santa pod day) and turn up! Ideally take lots of tyres with you but they usually sell part worns there. It's a fantastic day IMO, I'm going up on 5th Feb in my e36 (assuming I manage to replace the drive shaft, it snapped and is pretty much welded into the hub). There's loads of info on driftworks or the santa pod website itself for DWYB (Drift What Ya Brung). Bucket seats/harnesses/stiffer suspension/hydraulic handbrake all help but none are vital. They're probably more important in that order but it's all personal preference, and not needed to have fun at beginner level
  18. I'd bring both but don't want to spend £70-80!!
  19. Haha. Tempted to bring my e36 to this as I'd like to know what power it's putting out. I should probably bring the Zed though if it's a Zed meet
  20. So far, yes. Hoping for a couple more people though! As it is should be fine though..
  21. What a confusing list haha keep them coming more people we get the cheaper it'll be! If there's not much more interest I may post-pone it a couple of weeks. I may be able to find a couple of mates outside this forum to make up numbers too
  22. If you went to see it with a view to buying, why didn't you? I won't be able to view before it ends although I've been asking the seller for a contact number for ages but he hasn't given it to me.
  23. I thought that.. Do the imports have a LSD? I didn't realise they had Brembos, unless they were fitted after it left the factory.
