Anyone got any for sale? Second hand, not new as I'm trying to save some money! Fitted Eibach springs but fancy it a bit lower...

Just ordered some plus gas so will try that and heat first, otherwise I'll just have to order a new pair of struts!

To be honest mate I'd probably break it. These aren't worth much any more unfortunately. If I had the space I'd make you an offer for that reason. That said, you probably wouldn't even consider what I'd pay for it. Wouldn't bother with Auto Trader. In my experience you'd be better off with eBay for this one. Is it drivable? Or would it need to be picked up on a trailer?

Got the offside one but couldn't remove the nearside one from my old boot lid. Trying to save having to buy them new!!

So I'm pretty much just going to have to buy replacements.. Never mind!

Hi guys, I replaced my boot lid with one in better condition but one of the boot struts is almost welded into the old boot lid. 12mm spanner does nothing but start to round, caked it in WD40, hit it with a hammer to shock the threads, mole grips don't grip it well enough as it's a slim nut.. I'm out of ideas!! Do I have any option other than to buy a new one/pair? Cheers Sam

No plan yet so can be whenever, it'll be a weekend day though. I'll get a list of potential dates once I have enough people.

If they were moulded onto the bonnet and smoothed in, they may just about be acceptable (in my opinion), otherwise they just look chavvy. Personal preference though!

Nice! Do you drift with the LSD or a welded diff? I have a (currently broken) BMW E46 328Ci which I drift.. I'd love to take the Zed but feel it's too nice!

Just found out my mates old Zed was pretty low on coilovers with a Nismo lip, so no real concerns unless anyone is literally on the floor!

Skuzzle Motorsport www.skuzzle.com/motorsport Nick (owner) specialises in mx5s but has a dyno and knows his stuff!! It's pretty awkward to get into his workshop but my old s14a was pretty low and got in fine. My Zed (only lowered 30mm on Eibach) obviously got in easily. A mates old Zed with a Nismo kit got in but there wasn't a huge amount of space under the splitter! He's had some pretty damn low cars in there. The main catch could be splitters on particularly low cars but I'll have a chat with him and see if he has any ideas if he thinks it may be close, if there is anyone with particular concerns.
