  1. The previous owner removed the spoiler, filled the holes and wrapped it, so it'd need a re-spray.. I was just thinking of the most cost effective way of sorting it Edit: That said, if I bought another spoiler to go on, I may be able to work a way around that. I won't know until I remove the wrap though! Think I'll get a quote on spraying it first.
  2. If you want rid of the spacers, PM me
  3. Bit too much money for me I think, depends how my MOT goes. I'm surprised they're still here though, nice wheels!
  4. I'm in two minds about my boot lid. It's currently wrapped in satin carbon fibre vinyl. This was done professionally and looks great, however I feel it looks a bit out of place on it's own. Option 1: Replace with colour coded boot lid Option 2: Wrap the roof / A pillars etc so that the whole top half would be carbon wrapped I'm open to over options! What are your thoughts? If I went with the first option, I would either remove the wrap and sell it on, or sell the boot lid and buy a black one. I'm not sure what'd be most cost-effective. I found a black one on ebay for £206 - is this the going rate? How much would my boot lid be worth with the carbon wrap? Cheers Sam
  5. Such a shame these are multi-fit. I'd make you an offer if they were just 5x114.3!
  6. You might be in luck as we may have a local chap in on Saturday who is selling up and deciding whether to return his car back to stock and he has some fitted that we supplied for him... Let me know details and price if so please.
  7. Yeah I was speaking to the seller, made and offer but they sold.
  8. Thanks guys but looking for used at the moment as I have MOT and tax due!
  9. Happy to collect if near Southampton! Preferably Eibach springs. Thanks Sam
  10. I'm turning 21 in June and got an insurance quote with Admiral for around £750 fully comp with £500 voluntary excess with both parents as named drivers. That's 6k miles/year (doubt £10k would be any more really but might check out of interest) an parked on a driveway (cheaper than if I parked it in the garage). These Zeds are surprisingly cheap to insure for what they are.
  11. Do you have any more pictures of the K1 system? What year is your car? Just wondering as a dealer near me has an '04 plate with a K&N typhoon induction kit. Might ask them if they'd swap for a standard air box! Do different years have different fitment (that goes for both exhaust and air box). I don't have a Zed yet but am looking to get one soon.
  12. May be interested (for my dad). I have emailed him so will let you know.
  13. A Mate of mine was over there at the time and saw this, coincidently, he was also driving a GTR! Pretty sure that still wouldn't cover the 'ring.
  14. This! Borrowing some bike gear and doing your CBT (£100) is the best way to see if you like it or not. Once you've done that, if you don't like it, only £100 lost. If you do, you can buy yourself some bike gear (decent enough budget helmets are £100 or so new, I'd never buy a second hand helmet as you don't know if it's been dropped, all other gear can be bought second hand on eBay) then buy and insure a cheap 125 to practice on the roads yourself you can always take lessons but it's good to get out and practice on a 125 before going and getting a big bike (IMO of course). I'm speaking from experience as this is what I did and I'd recommend it to anyway. Owning a 125 for 4 months was probably the best thing I did. Then you'd have to do your bike theory (£31), then module 1 practical (£15.50) and then module 2 practical (£75), to be able to remove the L plates, take a pillion, and ride bigger bikes Alternatively (assuming you're over 21) you can do a direct access course which means you COULD go from never riding a bike, to riding a brand new 1000cc gsxr (if you had the money). Personally I think that's mad, but it's possible.
  15. Looking sweet! Definitely agree on the spacers and lowering though. Loving the carbon console. Did you wrap it yourself? If so, what did you use?
  16. Wouldn't take that much to make it acceptable though really. Remove all the stickers and chrome, black grills, clear indicators and new wheels I've seen far worse!
  17. ^^ Couldn't agree more! Also when riding on a bike, just go carefully with the thought that everyone might pull out on you and that no one has seen you. Yes they can go insanely quick, but doesn't mean they have to on your every day roads Because bikes are so cheap now (for what they are) it's worth going into it with all the correct safety gear. Obviously all you legally have to wear is a helmet. Most people wear at least a helmet, protective gloves and protective jacket. IMO wearing bike boots and protective trousers are just as important. I personally have spent a lot of money on bike gear and it's the best place you can spend your money to start with. Another tip, get to the motorcycle live bike show at the NEC in Birmingham (usually held around November) if you can. It's an awesome show and there are loads of great bargains available! I got my Shoei XR1100 Helmet (brand new range just out at the time) for £275 including 2 visors. This package retailed at £445. I also got my Arlen Ness 2-piece leather suit for £240 which retailed at £600. These products are still at these prices in the shops now.
  18. Keep the 350 and get a bike! All day long The 350 is an awesome car so no real need to upgrade to a 370 and spend more, when you've already paid it off. You could run a bike and a 350 together, for similar amount to just running a 370 and bikes are amazing fun. You can just do a direct access course to get you onto the bike All IMO, and slightly biased being that I have a bike (Suzuki SV650S) and am looking to buy a 350 lol. Really think it's worth doing though
  19. Have you decided on a price yet?
  20. When I said I'd give you £5500, I wasn't joking! Either way though, TT looks quite nice. Agree on the remap as its turbo'd.
  21. Welcome 350Z at 19? And an import? Which I believe affects insurance but may be wrong. How much is your insurance if you don't mind me asking? And who is it with?

    AGE

I'm 21 in June and looking to buy a 350, insurance is around £840 which is cheap for my age on a car with almost 300 horses! So cheers all
  23. Would you have taken that? I'd be tempted to offer you that if so! Feel free to PM me.
  24. That does sound low but it's expected from a dealer. You'd get more privately but depends if you want the hastle. Personally the only reason I can see it being worth slightly less is the mileage. Coming up for 90k.. Although I suppose it is an 04. I don't know enough about Zeds yet to comment properly I suppose.
