  1. It's another oem, good point, I'll try an Alpine I've got there
  2. Strange problem, hopefully someone can help! When playing CD's or the radio, the bass levels sometimes increase quite a bit for a few seconds then drop back to normal. I've changed the stereo, the bass amp and the sub (all original OE parts) but still the same issue. I've got a spare amp that I bought from a member on here, should I try that, could that be the problem? Any advice received with thanks!!
  3. Does the stereo have the usual skipping problems on the CD player or is it ok? If it's ok then I'll have it if you can post, obviously I'll pay the post
  4. Is it me or is the front end / bumper badly aligned? May be worth a closer look...........

    Cat C

For the 2nd time, a VIC test has absolutely nothing to do with checking the repairs or road worthiness, (visual) or otherwise, it is a, Vehicle Identity Check, to reduce cloning or ringers. It is also invalid as of October 2015, you no longer need a VIC test to get a logbook. Nothing wrong with a Cat C, but unless its well priced and your aware resale may take a while go for it, I would feel more comfortable knowing its been fully checked over though. Very true!! I've seen countless repaired cars advertised as VOSA checked / inspected indicating they have checked the repair when they only check the ID. For a Cat C, knock off a good 35% off the value, have a really, really good look / extended test drive then if all is well and it's a great price then go for it. If you can't fault it and buy it then someone else will like it when you come to re-sell
  6. Sounds fine to me matey, PM me your payment details and I'll get you paid up
  7. If you can take the Bose amp out of the boot as well and post I'll take all the Bose music please! Will send you a PM
  8. Will you be around on Thursday? Will send you a PM
  9. As per title, looking for a set of 18's or 19's for an early Fairlady. Black or bronze would be ideal, would like as low an offset as possible and a staggered fitment would be ideal, what's on offer!!
  10. True, bought my first manual NSX for £10500, probably 'worth' double that at least now! Could never see myself paying that for another one though as much as i like them as they are seriously overpriced.
  11. I had a race with my mates' NSX a few months back... actually undertook him eventually... Wasn't a struggle by any means. He must have been in an auto for a 350 to 'easily' go by! There's a huge difference in the manual & auto but with both cars at around 280BHP'ish neither are really going to make the earth move
  12. Haha, that's probably right! A mate of mine used to do a lot of cowboy airport runs, got caught a few times then did a year in jail for it..............he doesn't do it anymore now he's a free man
