My alarm went crazy a few weeks ago - each time I locked it the alarm would sound after 5 seconds or so. I put this down to a lot of water being in the cabin after the wind/rain over Christmas. Maybe a circuit GT some moisture set in and causing a short. Passed a after a few days but could be related to yours too?

Both have their merits, and are very capable. As someone said earlier int his thread one of the key points if how it fits in your hand, and how the buttons are laid out for you to work with easily. I use a canon 50d along with an 18-75 zoom and 50mm1.4. I would spend the more money on good lens's, as the body can be upgraded if you wish further down the line. My 50mm is my favourite lens - very fast lens and you can create some great images with focal distances.
