  1. Well, after all the excitement of installing the PC and generally getting a lot more enthused with the car of late.......some VERY crap news!! Looks like the engine has spun a bottom end bearing. I heard the noise a week ago, and after a consultation with the Keyser we think thats the cause. Since then I've been pretty quiet on here - a combination of sulking, weighing up my options, making spreadsheets of how much I would get back from the car etc. But after a lot of thought I am going to try and get the car back on the road with a new heart, and enjoy her again! On the more humorous side of things, which I only just remembered (last week was a blur), when I phoned Chris to see about listening to the engine noise he was working on the house and the radio was playing 'Another one bites the dust' Any who, crap news, but its only a car/engine which can be fixed. Watch this space
  2. Nice one mate, luckily I don't have to use mine everyday otherwise I would look to get a daily too Anything but orange...thats way too played out now
  3. Did you spray or wrap those? Look REALLY good. I tried to wrap mine last weekend but it didnt go so well
  4. March 14th is an up coming date in the UK calendar too, not being very widely accepted though hehe.
  5. Heres the misses, the Zed & myself on our Europe Roadtrip last summer.
  6. Got the better half a card & choc's. Fancy meal out.....fancy meal in.....expensive.... Nope....KFC & a movie
  7. How are the door handles holding up dude? I was going to do mine but I'm worried about not getting the paint thick enough and it wearing through after the opening/closing a heap of times. Had a price to get them done professionally at £70.
  8. Keyser, not sure what you are holding in your hands there, but if thats the end of your.....y'know....you might wanna get it checked out. Its an odd colour
  9. +1 on most of the above. My better half had Fly-eye on the rear lights of her Evo - looked really cheap & crap from any distance. We now have some good quality tint film and they look far better. Buy cheap, buy twice etc etc.
  10. Good lord Flex!! Put me right off my dinner that has!
  11. Thats Paris dude. He didn't say where it was
  12. As you are in the area, pop to the Wheel Specialist in Ferndown - about a 1-2 minute drive from the Zed Shed. I have used these guys for my wheels, my misses wheels, and a custom project as we speak. As for Pete, top bloke! Tell him I sent you
  13. Same here. First I have seen of this, or the linked thread. When the car is back in summer mode with good wheels fitted I'll be sure to get some snaps
  14. makes my legs go funny!!! and to quote Will - :scare:
  15. This may have been posted already (haven't read all 4 pages) but a colleague just sent me this link on his local news. http://www.burtonmai...pe1392284892325 E17RAM - silver 370z floating around in a massive puddle. I mean, you would stop surely?....its not like a small puddle....and you have a 4x4!! click the image for a slideshow! so sad to see
  16. Thanks guys been speaking to Alex over PM for some other items but hopefully all sorted now. As hinted to above this will end up as furniture so will not be under much stress. I ended up solving the issue today as it turns out I need to use a smaller bolt anyway, oops! Thanks for replies though - once complete I will be along with pics
  17. Wasn't a huge fan of the default Dash Command screen, so hunted around and found a skin inspired by the GTR. 5 minutes of clicking later and I made a slightly customised version for the Zed. Will install it tonight when I leave the office. Should be just the job. EDIT - 1000th post!!! Doesn't time fly
  18. Welcome along matey. Got any pics? (of the Zed, or previous S bodies )
  19. Seen quite a few videos from this guy on YouTube. It does look like good fun. Plus we have a huge empty office at work which could easily become the RC room
  20. Ah mind you, there is some gravel to contend with actually. to get you into the 'show ground' - that could be interesting
