This was when we turned the sky box on last night after watching a DVD. I couldn't believe what I was watching at first - the pair of us just sat there for a minute struggling for words! Haha

Looking good mate. Saw your car on the wheel Specialists FB page. I know the guys there quite well, they did my wheels for me -
Would you be willing to sell the floor on its own? Should fit in a jiffy bag for easy postage?

Matt's Azure Adventure! - Decats & Japfest prep Pg.21

The mount I have is rated for up to 150mph (although I would be VERY concerned about it going anywhere near that speed). I took my old mount up to around 60mph. I'll get some footage this weekend when the car has fuel. You see these types camera's mounted to all the drift cars etc so they should be fine so long as you are not using a £3 suction mount from eBay. -
PM Tarmac....not sure if its something he could help with

Thanks matey, been a slow couple of months but hoping to get a few bits done so she is ready for show season. Better late than never for this update......a quick video of the exhaust!! After a miss-hap with my old GoPro type camera Santa gave me an GoPro Hero 3+ which is far better than my old one. Yesterday the suctions mounts arrived too So I wapped them on the car this morning and gently drove into work. My old camera fell off a friends mini and no longer recorded sound, so in hope of stopping this from happening again I have two suctions mounts tethered together. Should one fail (which I should hope not for the cost) I have it linked to a backup. Quick pic and vid below (not the best quality footage as YouTube doesn't seem to let me load in the HD video). -
Makes me want to get a new camera Higher grade lenses would be a better purchase first I'd say. A friend has a lower spec'd camera than mine but when paired up with his ridiculous lens he gets fabulous photographs. I don't know much about the steady-cam's , will go and have a goosey at them now see how much they are. Could be a good little purchase for when I start using the camera more often. I know what you mean about 'loosing' cameras. My first venture into sports cams was a Wingman HD, stuck it on my mates mini and it popped off at around 40mph, never recorded sound after that. So to remedy this from happening to my GoPro I have a Fat Gheko uber suction mount, tethered to a back up suction mount as a fail-safe. Took it out only this morning for the first test run and all seems fine.

I've been looking into these myself (had a GoPro from Santa). From what I have been Googling around on DIY websites you can build your own slide rigs from a variety of materials. Could be something to look into?

Nice pics with the new lens matey. I first used a friends 50mm 1.8 last year and absolutely loved it. Such a fast lens. As soon as I got back I ordered myself the 50mm F1.4....by far and away my favourite lens. + 1 million on the tripod

Aww man really I've just skimmed back through my posts, which piece of Centrafuse do you mean? the engine monitoring stuff? There are a few 'app's you can download from the Centrafuse market that allow you to read from the cars OBDII port. So I hooked up the ODBII reader to a long USB cable to feed that into the PC. Allow you to have cool readings like that whilst driving, also quick&easy to read/wipe fault codes. Over the past few days I have taken it up a level and bought a program called DashCommand from the US. Relatively cheap, and should look frikking awesome when linked to the ODBII. Quick snap below. -

Ian, thankfully thats not me. Mine is safe & sound Yep, keeping the stock setup for a few reasons. 1. so I don't have to fuss with amps and speakers running from the CarPC - I have used the BOSE Hack so I am just running a 3.5mm Aux from the PC into the back of the Bose. 2. I get to keep the radio stations as my previous CarPC did not support radio. 3. I also get to keep the stock phone kit, as the afore mentioned CarPC did not like Bluetooth support. 4. All the steering wheel controls will still be functional (I hope ) -

Not masses to update on this, but figured the thread was a due a post as its been a while. Since well before JAE the car PC has just become an ornament on the dining room table......So time to finally get cracking with it. Not too many pics yet but been pretty busy over Christmas getting the final pieces of software all setup, and making a start at the wiring and starting to create the MDF 'lid' to stop any potential damage to the PC in the glove box. The screen is now in and most of the wiring run to behind the seats, most of the PC ancillaries are in place and wires run to the glove box. Just need a few last minute ebay additions and the final fitting can commence. -

Looking good dude. Really is such a great mod to help brighten up the rear of the Zed. Is your Zed badge the new style from LiquidArt? I have the older style Tommy K replica on mine -
Same here. Just finished prepping up all the vege and stuff ready for tomorrow - so all I need to do is put them on the hob, wang the turkey in the over and sit back and wait

Forgot to mention that! I've seen these but don't know much about them. Top Idea, Paddy beat me to it. I have had a sound bar for a few weeks now, was a joint Christmas present from the in-laws and its brilliant. We use it in the living room as we watch loads of Sky & Netflix. There are plenty of sound bars to be had for under £150 - I went for the LG-'something'F-350 at £180. 300w system with wireless sub, etc etc. Drastically improves the sound over the stock TV speakers. Input wise I have an optical cable from the back of the TV, then into the TV I have the Sky, DVD player, Apple TV & VCR(yep.....VCR!! ). So the sound bar will play all of these via the optical out on the TV. I am VERY tempted to buy another sound bar for the man cave as thats where my Xbox is banished to. If like me you are short or space these are very good solutions. amp/system wise. I also looked into the amps and full home systems - but I didn't want/need a DVD player, and I'm not that much of an audiophile that I needed a full amp with 7.1 etc etc. Sound bar fitted the bill as it was good sound, and it just did sound.
