When we were putting my engine back together some of those torque settings started off silly low, almost impossibly low. So I think Chris just nipped them tight, and then moved up through the range according to the book

After seeing that pic again I just watched back the video from last time. Was a top weekend!! roll on Wales 2015

I painted mine off the car, however ran into issue when trying to squeeze the rubber grommet back into the hole in the boot lid. The paint cracked almost instantly and now looks crap. My plan over the next weekend or so it get a new rubber grommet, fit it to the car & the paint with a touch up pen in-situ. Hopefully this way once the paint dries there will be no need to bend or miss shape the rubber causing cracks. Not sure if it'll work though

I could do with it it all honesty, but need to be sensible. Office closure & redundancy isn't ideal a week before the Wales weekend. I shall be thinking of you all (yes yes....and the caravans!). Zed looks spot on dude!! Happy to help with the handles!! Hopefully I'll get mine done in time Japfest. Good to see you are cracking on the with valve re-work, be a shame to see it go! Plus you've saved yourself from a lot more hassle by fixing it sooner rather than later
