I would have suggested the cats possibly starting to break down, as the Internals come away. However the baffles in the rear box could be shot worst scenario both of which could present this issue of thinking of something within the system. If you have access to a ramp, or go to an exhaust fitting centre then this would be easier to diagnose. Hope its something needing a tweak or a tighten.

A lot of cars run them for soundproofing. But hey the Z has not got one, however the engine is silent in the cockpit. Yet another demonstration of what a superior build quality the car is.

Totally agree with Mudman, if your into bling go for a full induction kit otherwise go with the upmarket panel filter.
